ChampionsGate Golf Club - National
About
The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

Golfer Reviews
Great Course!
The National is an awesome course to play! It has length, difficulty and, beauty. The greens were challenging, fairways were lush, and bunkers were consistent.
I will definitely play again.
Good shape but layout is average!
Course was in good shape and staff was friendly! The course layout is forgettable . Par 3s were below average. Course plays tight so left Driver in the bag on most holes. Overall was disappointed with design.
Great Course to Play!
Championsgate was a great course to play! I plan on playing it again soon!
Great course
Great course to play . Greens are in very good shape and run out nice . A must play golf course in Orlando. Staff does a nice job and very friendly.
Made the cut this time
This was one of the four courses we played while here. This course ranks number 4 to the other, not saying that’s a bad thing. One thing that that was weird to me being from TEXAS the sand (trap) that runs all the way to the woods didn’t know if was trap or water way.
We played some nice courses while here. Not sure if this will make the cut next time..

Just got to love this course
What a fantastic experience to play the National course at Championsgate, from start to finish.
Friendly helpful welcome, starter who communicated what was going on and made the tee times work.
Well worth the visit if in the area looking for a tough but fair golf course. Good golf is rewarded with plenty of tees to choose from for different levels of golfer.
The course was in great condition
Bar staff were very friendly and offered an efficient service.
Once again well worth the visit
nice result
two of went out to play , i admitted to that started that I had nearly creid off with a bad back , but decided to give it ago as my partner was keen.
after the first hole i realised it was not going to let me play and i was driver while my partner played the rest of the round.
course was in great condition and the greens were really nice.
when i came in they asked how was the round and i said that i ended up not playing after the first.... they guys gave me a rained off ticket and i'll look forward to going back...
how decent!
This course is great all around
If you want to enjoy a great round of golf you must include this course in your wishing list.
I truly enjoyed playing here.
What's not to like!!
This is the time of year us Fl. boy's get to play the fancy courses. We look forward to this time of year, the National was super. Greens rolled perfect and areas around the greens were perfect. A real treat, we will be back several times this summer!
not for beginers
course was in good condition generally but three of the greens had been hollow tined and dressed with sand this did not affect the role of the ball though. greens were fast throughout. the first few holes are littered with bunkers so accuracy is at a premium. pace of play was good and drinks truck was seen often,
Great Course
Challenging course which uses every club in the bag! Lots of hazards so strategic play is sometimes good but long enough to require a degree of power also. We really enjoyed this course, it’s in a nice spot so the environment is pleasant and adds to the fun of the course. In summary, a must play if the price is right but it does get pricey in peak season, probably for the reasons that I have mentioned plus, the off course facilities are very good. So thumbs up from me!
ChamionsGate
Keep up the good work! Course is in very good condition and well maintained. Will definitely play there again and highly recommend it to other fellow golfers.
Played here a few times before I had shoulder surgery. The greens were replaced last year and have really come in nice. Greens were in as good a shape as any course around. Course was not crowded and our twosome didn't catch the group ahead of us until the 14 th hole. Played in 3.5 hours even waiting out a pop up shower. Very nice clubhouse and staff all very friendly.
