Ashton Hills Golf Club

Pace of play was horrible; had 4 young kids on the course that were hitting 4 balls apiece on each hole. Complained to the marshal but he said the course was crowded and they not holding up the course. I felt like the rate should have been cheaper since the greens are coming around from the aeration. Sand bunkers need more sand see a lot of the paper in the bunkers.

I’ve probably played here 5-10 times. The course is always in great shape. Quick greens, fairly short course, lots of hills. Got stuck behind a foursome that had probably never played before and ended up finishing my round that started at 3:40 at around 8pm. Range and practice green are also nice.

The greens were aerated less than two weeks ago, but are already healing up nicely. A little bumpy still, but mostly rolling true. The fairways look the best they have in years. The course layout is challenging dues to the near total lack of flat approach shots. But its a visual joy to watch your ball tracking to the well-placed greens.

The greens had just been punched 2 days prior, which you guys gave no notice. I couldn’t get a refund because I paid on line and the course wouldn’t write a rain check. Tried call you guys and automated said I needed an account with you guys to try and get my money back.

So, I’ve decided I will just call the course myself and get tee times going forward. I cannot trust GN and do not want my experience ruined again. Oh, and the price was the same going through you guys or the course. So why wouldn’t I just call them???

1.) staff was AWSOME and let me borrow a chipping wedge since I left mine at home

2.) course is beautiful and fairways/ tee boxes/ and greens are in great shape

3.) greens are areated but are probably 2-5 days from being 100% they where 85-90% today and still rolled really true

Had a 8:20 tee time and finished all 18 in 2:15 hours great pace of play for me

If this course wasn't so far from my house (61 miles) it would be my new go-to course. The layout is very fair and enjoyable, no holes were extremely difficult nor did you get penalized for good shots. A lot of the fairways had some gentle, and maybe a little more than gentle for some, elevation changes to them and for some of them, you couldn't see the final landing area from the the tee box. But the fairways were generous and the rough, for the most part, was as well. If you hit your tee shot reasonably well, you were going to have a good lie and reasonable shot to the green. The fairways were, in truth, the best I have played this year. Always a great lie in the fairway, no thin lies, no half-grass and half-dirt lies. Best fairways around. Greens had just been punched but no matter, I could tell they were otherwise in great condition and when they have recovered, putts would run true. I would love to come back. I just wish it was closer to home.

Play was extremely slow and there was no Marshall to speed up play. The ground under repair area was significant on every hole.

Course was in superior shape; played after a huge tournament and got behind some really slow players that wouldn’t allow us to go around. Definitely will be back!

The Greens are the reason you come here if you want a Great Experience and test your short game and putting Great Course as always

I love this golf course it has a great design and layout. It is maintained in excellent condition with great pride. I started playing this course when it was first built
