Ashton Hills Golf Club

This is a beautiful course with many challenging holes. The greens are amazing and fast. They have a great range and practice area. The restaurant and bar is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a blast to play this course no matter how poorly I play.

A fun course with excellent fast greens with a fun and fair layout. The pro is a very good teacher and patient. I’ve played a long time but got into bad habits that he corrected quickly. I still need practice but hit the ball better and more consistently after his instructions.

Greens are perfect! Need more weeks of hot weather to grow in fairways. My only beef with Ashton Hills is all 3 times I have played there they were having tournaments. They had 2 tournaments yesterday. Then they start teeing off both sides, you make the turn and 2 groups waiting to tee off on#1 with 2 groups already on #1. Stop with all the tournaments already!!!!! My advice is if playing on Saturday is call ahead and find out about possible tournaments. I like the course and staff but stop with all the Saturday tournaments!!!!!!!!

Challenging course. The greens were in excellent shape. The course is well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back again.

Couldn't play to wet,,,,,call to play later they wouldn't push me back anytime, & wanted more money too play cart path only in the rain

Really nice course, good layout and not overly crowded. Greens were in fantastic shape and the bunkers we're obviously well taken care of. The two biggest downsides to the course are the cart paths and yardage markers. The cart paths are pretty busted up due to tree roots so you really have to pay attention and drive slowly. The course has almost no yardage markers. They don't have any 150 yard stakes and they claim to have yardages on either side of the fairway in 25 yard increments but I think I saw less than 10 the entire round because so many of them are broken and need to be replaced. I asked the guy in the clubhouse if he had a yardage book and he said that they stopped using them a few years ago because so many people around there used range finders. He was helpful though and showed me the GPS available on their website. Overall I would play it again and would advise others to do so as well.

This is a great course... I’ve played it at lease 8 times or more. It’s normally in excellent condition. Has a great layout.

The staff at Ashton Hills could not be any better. From the person who checked us in pulled the carts out, to the ranger, all were pleasant and appreciative of our business. It helps to have someone with you who has played the course before as there are a few blind or layup shots required where positioning is more important than pure distance.

We went off as a twosome and would have played in about 3 hours had we not run into a group playing "a game" as they told us, on the 17th tee, They proceeded to play 17 and 18 in 45 minutes. The ranger came up as we finally approached the 18th green and when he heard this, he apologized profusely and shared that this was not normal. he also said he hoped it would not be the reason for us not coming back again. We appreciated his sincerity and will give it another try as the layout is great, the greens are excellent, and the staff, as I noted, were fantastic. It's ah hour drive form my house, but the combination make it worth it.

Great round of golf for our foursome. From arranging t-times & $ transaction @ course & course conditions everything was top notch. Brian worked out total fee by consolidating a coupon & 3 seniors rate. He also worked out our t-time so we could play at a good pace with a tournament w/ shotgun start after us. We didn’t wait at all.

Fairways dormant, greens in great shape, traps raked, cart path on only 4 holes. Do wish a yardage between whites & gold for seniors, 5600-5800, or a gold/white combo.

Highly recommend

Worth the 45 minute drive from Atlanta. Course is in excellent shape and very well managed with an friendly staff. Try the burger at the grill.

Had a great day course staff was great I will recommend to all my friends.
