Ashton Hills Golf Club

The course was in great shape, especially for this time of the year. Heads up, though. The greens are lightning fast. Combine that with the multilevel greens and tough pin placements and it’s a recipe for 3 (or 4) putts. Nice layout. Some holes the rough needs a little work, but I guess that means keep it in the fairway 🙂

Ashton Hills golf course is just fantastic.

The grounds crew has the course in superb condition.

The holes are visually pleasing, challenging, yet scorable and fun to play. It is a tough, but very fair course.

The clubhouse is decent, as is the range. This place spends their funds on keeping the course in really nice shape.

The greens, recently aerated, rolled fast and true; no bouncing.

The 2 bunkers I played from were pristine.

The fairways were exceptional, and provided lots of roll from tee shots.

The tee boxes were mostly in good shape from the black and blue tees.

The starter, Quentin, provided me, a first-time player here, with a thorough orientation to the course, and even came around and found me on the back 9 to check on my experience on the course.

I traveled about 90 minutes to play here, and glad I did. I wish I lived closer, to play more frequently.

I don’t believe there’s another metro course that offers more for the money. Fast, pure, well manicured greens, good tee boxes, great mix of birdie opportunities and other holes that require accurate tee shots to make par. Very friendly desk manager who came out to advise me the others in my group were not making it and I could tee off 15 minutes earlier. Great course to keep in your rotation.

Love the course and the staff. Played second time and will be back again with friends.

Even on a rainy Saturday, greens were fast and true. A few aeration punch holes remain but not a problem. Staff is super nice. Excellent value at $55. Literally the best course outside the city.

This course was fantastic! The staff was friendly and the pace was good. I will go back and bring more friends.

It was a bit of a drive for me, but I made the trip based on recommendations from friends. I am glad I did because I enjoyed my round—a good layout with excellent greens. The greens are fast. However, I tend to put better on faster greens. I read reviews regarding the staff's "friendliness" issue with golf now Hot Deal bookings. Although it was a reasonably navigatable interaction with the pro shop staff, I can see what they mean. They offered me earlier start times, offered to be paired up with a later time, and started me on the back nine. All relatively normal requests; however, I wanted to experience the amenities, so I respectfully declined the offers and used the driving range and practice area till my tee time arrived. The starter explained that they rotate weeks, starting on tee one and tee ten, so I never thought about it again. I just like playing golf. I did come up on a five-some by my hole 14. So you got that too. Anyway, they played pretty fast. It's a good course all the way around. If I were closer to it I would play more often.

I always enjoy golfing but it’s always certain courses catch your eye and this that one for me. Course was in great shape and the greens were fast. A must play if you are in the area. #LOVINGGOLF

We were told that we needed to start on hole #10 , not a problem, however we got the #1 hole the Fairway was aerated and wet causing the Fairways to be muddy, we were not informed of the conditions under which we had to play, It would be nice if we were given a choice or option.

I have played this course before. It always seems to be a challenging course for me. The fairways were in decent shape as were the greens, although the greens were somewhat grainy. They were probably aerated about a month or so ago but came back pretty decent.

Tee boxes were in good shape. Driving range balls showed some wear and tear but there are a decent amount of spaces to practice on the range. Staff was very courteous. I'll definitely come back to this course with the hope of breaking 80.
