Good Times!
Have not been there in over 20 years, pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape. I’ll be back soon
Can’t Go Wrong With Arthur Hills!!!
Even though it rained non stop our entire round, this course is by day the best downriver Public course. A must for any level golfer. Brand new carts complete with club/bag cover.
The greens were true and rolled great even during the downpour.

My boyfriend and i played twilight golf for only 18.00 each. It was the perfect 4th of July and we were able to finish all 18 holes!!
Good hot summers day
Very nice course so close to home. Played long and nice challenge but not overwhelming. The only knock was when it’s 98 it makes you wonder who decided on black carts. Lol. Nice layout and surprised at grade changes for such a flat geographic region. Reasonable prices too for holiday weekend. Looking to go back and see how I do since I know it better now.

Best of downriver
Best course by far south of 94 in metro Detroit area. Great course layout- greens were good. A lot of available restrooms on the course and plenty of options to get food and drinks before, at the turn, and another shack on the course but looked closed due to covid rules. Beverage cart was not out but rumor was they were not running on the day I played due to a tournament that went off about an hour after us. Regardless it’s a must play if your from downriver or looking to play in the area!
Keep an eye on the price
Got overcharged $15. The guy working the desk charged me $15 more than golf now said I was supposed to pay. On top of that was quite rude when we showed up for our T-time at 7. “We close right at 7” he said yet there’s tee times available at 7:15.
Nice course just an unfortunate experience that leaves a sour taste in your mouth
Best downriver course
Well maintained. A lot of length. Water on several holes. You’ll play better the second time there as some of the holes are a little tricky. Only thing missing is elevation changes; it’s a pretty flat track.
Great Shape
Lakes is one of the best courses in the Downriver area. Which means it’s a little pricey. Course was in great shape. The grill at the turn for food and beer was still closed.
