Same old story
Great design and layout. Art hills design. Most holes are in a bowl which I love. Sadly this should be a 5 star course but there are signs of deterioration. Especially around the bunkers. Fairways tees and greens were of great shape bunkers and areas surrounding them could use help. Still for $50 it was a really good deal compared to other similar priced courses.
Jerry is the Best!!
Jerry is the very best! He gets it! He did a great job facilitating traffic at hole one and making sure that pace of play was perfect! He has a great personality and attitude and truly understands the love of the game! The rest of the staff was equally great, the course was in immaculate condition, as usual, and we had an amazing time!! Will definitely be back and bringing others as well!! Love Lakes of Taylor!!
Too slow
It was crazy slow pace. They should push people who spend too much time.
Fast greens, slow play
Course was in nice shape. Greens very fast with a lot of slopes. Course was very overbooked and pace of play was terrible. Has a nice clubhouse and restaurant. Starter was very friendly.
Poor for price
For the price this course is in poor condition, large clumps of dead grass left on the fairways, and divots on the green. I know this is a public course but we were the second tee time so there was plenty of time to fix these issues. I would not recommend anyone play this course for the price.
Love the course layout the greens was a little bit inconsistent
Slowwwwww play.
The course was in decent condition, especially with how much rain we have gotten recently. It should NEVER take 6 hours to play a round of golf. The course needs to do better at spacing out tee times and enforcing pace of play.
Same story…different day…
Course is challenging and well kept. As always, the issue remains the same, 3 hours to finish front 9. Either it’s the downriver golfer with no etiquette and blaring music and/or the lack of rangers pushing the pace, maybe they overbook or all the above. Whatever the reason it’s time I learn a lesson and go elsewhere and stop hoping that they have changed after a decade plus….
