Terrible experience
They really pack them in. 8 minute gap between tee times. They do not push the pace whatsoever. Rangers were nonexistent until they came out to kick us off the course. Course conditions felt like late fall in early August. Greens and tee boxes were in terrible condition. Fairways played almost like the first cut of rough at some nicer facilities. Bunkers were terrible. Just an overall bad experience.
Great experience
Course was in great shape. Nice, quick greens & 17&18 are beautiful holes!

Pace of play was below 4 hours. Course in really good condition, greens hold and roll true. Will be my go to course in the area.
Beautiful course.
This course was one of the best conditions I’ve played at in eastern Michigan. I’m more on the beginner side of playing so I found the course more difficult than others I played at which helped my game a lot more. Only thing I will say, paying 5.00 for a “cheese filled” hot dog that didn’t have cheese and was most likely had been sitting there for a while. So all in all course was great will definitely golf there again but won’t buy the food!
Course is in great shape.
Cart path only due to heavy rain previous day. But 90% of the course was dry enough to accommodate carts. No big deal though. Pace of play was excellent.
All areas were in great shape.
Peaceful
Course was great. Carts are modern with technology attached. We will go back.
Slow but Nice
Very Slow Round likely due to the cart path only from the rain the day before...but nice course and well groomed
Same old story
Great design and layout. Art hills design. Most holes are in a bowl which I love. Sadly this should be a 5 star course but there are signs of deterioration. Especially around the bunkers. Fairways tees and greens were of great shape bunkers and areas surrounding them could use help. Still for $50 it was a really good deal compared to other similar priced courses.
Jerry is the Best!!
Jerry is the very best! He gets it! He did a great job facilitating traffic at hole one and making sure that pace of play was perfect! He has a great personality and attitude and truly understands the love of the game! The rest of the staff was equally great, the course was in immaculate condition, as usual, and we had an amazing time!! Will definitely be back and bringing others as well!! Love Lakes of Taylor!!
