Tatum Ridge Golf Links

I am a79 yr old trying to hit a few golf balls on a hundred degree day. I was harassed in a disrespectful manner by a claimed worker ( he may have been playing golf on his day off).

He told me I had to admit doing something wrong or he would bar me from playing the course.

He said I had to play 18 holes in a row and that I could not play holes twice. I played 6 holes and then decided I was getting tired and that it was too hot. I decided to cut over to play 16,17&18 on my way back to the club house. There were very few players on the corse. He and his playing buddy caught up to me and told me I could not play a hole twice. I tried to convince him that I did not play any holes twice. He told me he would have me barred from playing the course. He was disrespectful, threatening and not courteous. He made incorrect assumptions about where I was on the course.

I’ve been playing Tatum Ridge for 5 year. The course conditions had been improving, but they have slipped backwards again.

The greens were were in pretty good shape, except a few holes had a raised circumference around the cup, making it difficult to sink a putt.

The fairways had large patches of unplayable turf, and the Tee boxes were so uneven that it was difficult to find a flat area to address the ball. Too bad, because this can be a really nice course to play, but not today.

This course's fairways suffer more when we get heavy sustained rainfall during the wet season. The fairways are in rough shape, not just in the wet zones, but also there are places that are burnt and bare?

The staff is always fantastic! They are always friendly and welcoming.

The greens are in better shape than some other courses in the area. Lots of water in play on this course. The layout makes the short course more difficult than you would expect at this yardage.

Course is in good shape. Pace of play was excellent.

First time playing at the course. The course and the green are in great condition. The staff saw us in the parking lot and drove the cars to us. Great service. The pace was slower than what I anticipated. There was a group behind us with a very young child playing with his dad. Nothing wrong with that but the kid was actually talking very loudly. Overall I really enjoyed playing and will make this course my first choice to play in the future.

We were a 4 some playing behind a 3 some playing from the tips not a pretty sight they let us through on #13 still played in just over 4 hrs...

Greens much improved since playing earlier this year. Some fairways still need work but felt great value for my money. Will be back.

Tatum is typically in a continuous state of repair, sometimes it is in great shape, but most of the time, conditions are kind of rough. We played here early in the summer and it was so bad, we decided not to come back for a while. Recent reviews looked promising, so I gave it another chance. Tee boxes are bad and need some work, fairways are not great with some really poor areas, greens were decent for the most part, but some of them need work, rough was pretty rough making it tough to find wayward tee shots. Overall, this is a great layout and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The price was good for the conditions and the pace of 4 hours was good

I played about a month after TS Debby came through and it was late August. Some of the greens and some of the tee boxes were in bad shape, but the fairways were decent. I'll be back to play the course in February to see if the condition is better. Loved the layout though and the staff is friendly. Be sure to get the yardage book or have your rangefinder.

Enjoyed our round. Greens in good condition. Tees moved back on some holes making them more challenging.

The course is a work in progress. It was a goat ranch 3 years ago but it has turned around. I can tell that the owner or management really cares about the course.

I love playing there can can’t wait til next time.

The course was in nice shape with greens being slow but in excellent condition. Our twosome played the course in just over 3 hours and 15 minutes while following another twosome. Will definitely play this course more often.

I am losing faith in golf now as a source for course conditions. Get out of posting course reviews, as it appears many are falsified. This course was not in the shape that many reviews claimed. Dirt fairways / broken cart paths/ etc. had to roll the ball multiple feet to find grass on 50% of the shots. This course needs work.
