Not bad
Greens were in great shape, fairways were ok. Bunkers need a lot of work
Not too shabby
Wish we could have got a coffee before the round, had a frost delay, but overall not too bad!
Lack of beaverages and slow play without ranger
No drink cart on a Saturday when the course is full is not good . Going in to the club house for food and or drink slows play . The back nine on oaks was very frustrating as play was very slow without a ranger pacing play .
Solid Course with Slow Pace of Play
We played the day after a big rain, and it started out foggy. The course in general was kept in nice condition. Good tee boxes and greens. It was waterlogged in places (11th fairway and most bunkers), but hard to tell what they would look like on a normal day. Biggest complaint was we had an 8:12 tee time and didn’t tee off until about 20 minutes later because the course was already so backed up. We were waiting on almost every shot, though the round was about 4.5 hours.
Great Potential
I have played this course several times and always enjoy it. However, this course, which has three nine hole courses can be sooooo much better if the maintenance was up to par. Greens ran well, there is room for improvement. The bunker’s really need the most love. Despite all of that course is still a fun track to play.
Playing alone
Needed to go and work a little on my game. Conditions were perfect, staff friendly and helpful.
Straight holes, small greens
Wanted to get out and try this course before a possible shutdown next spring. Worth a look.
The fairways, greens, tees and traps were in fairly good condition with a few weak spots here and there. Ok practice area. No GPS on carts. Almost all of the holes were straight in front of you. You can aim for the flag from the tees. Greens were quite small, like the size of a tee area. Once you got on them the putting was not hard. Senior tees were short.
A quiet and low danger experience. I had a good day.
