Cypress Ridge Golf Course
About
Cypress Ridge Golf Club stretches along the Central Coast, taking its name from the abundant cypress trees that are scattered throughout the course. The scenic and hilly terrain is the star of this layout, it provides challenging ups-and-downs but also stunning views. The smooth, fast greens are often elevated, as are many of the tees. The strategic placement of the bunkers was determined by the natural contours of the landscape. Though the golf course has many challenges to offer, playability is also a key feature. Golfers of all skill levels can approach Cypress Ridge Golf Club with confidence. Water does not have a prominent presence but it does come into play on the finishing par-5 hole. The golf course is a local favorite for both the enjoyable round itself and the friendly staff.

Marshal
The pace of play was terrible, nearly 6-hours they need a course marshal badly.
I'll Be Back!
This was my second round at Cypress Ridge in the last month. As before, the course was in great shape, the staff was very friendly, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I found a deal on GolfNow that saved me a few dollars, which made things even better. Both times, I was paired with a couple really good guys and we were/are of about the same skill level. I'm sure I'll be back and I recommend this course to anyone.
Best Course on the Central Coast
Don’t leave your clubs at home when traveling the the Central Coast. Cypress Ridge has it all. Good deals for both week days and on weekends through Tee Off. The course is beautifully laid out and extremely well maintained with scenic views from every fairway. It plays long but kudos to the staff for its imaginative tiered tee box setups, which allow most golfers the opportunity to put the ball on the green within the required amount of shots to make par, no matter the skill level. A great way to enjoy a wonderful day on the coast.
Melton
The course was great but it took us six hours to play!
Cypress Ridge
We played Cypress Ridge yesterday. It’s a nice residential course. Although it has been in better playing condition.
There were two twosomes in front of us, we were two and twosomes behind us. Unfortunately without a Marshall the play was very very slow. Even slower than Morro Bay. Close to a five hour round.
Great course plays slow
Really like this course but 5+hour rounds seems to be the norm here even on weekdays. No Marshall to speeding up play. Others we talked to said play is slow often on this course. F one could play a round in under 4 hours consistently this would be a gem. No water filling stations on the course either. Bring along a large water bottle.
