White Heron Golf Club

This course is in desperate need of maintenance and tlc. . We played it two months ago and it was great. Today, it was in terrible shape and we felt not even close to money for value for what they are charging for a round. They literally used paint or some other form of chemical composition to make the greens look acceptable. The fairways were patchy, and in rough shape. The greens were inconsistent and more importantly were patched in places that made it difficult to putt the line and break. I understand it’s winter and grass is dormant but the prices are raised at this time of year and this course does not even come close to giving you am satisfying experience for what they are charging. Our first clue should have been the fact we had to replace our cart because of obvious damage when they brought it to us. It was a very disappointing experience.

This course starts off as very challenging and moderates as you go along. Overall fair but lots of water to deal with.

Tough course with lots of water and trees. It sure the quality is there for the full price but with GN discount it was fine. Maybe it’s that time of year too but fairways need more grass, they’re a little bald. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I've been playing against White Heron all year round, but now I'm at my best. I've read some reviews and found out that not everyone is just here to enjoy golf. My golf course selection criteria are price and proper course conditions. However, the people who complain here seem to be looking at the course regardless of the price. If you really want a golf course that's in good condition and service, go to the resort and enjoy it. I highly recommend it if you really want a course that needs tricky layout, quick greens, and heady course management.

This is not recommended for those with high handicaps or those who just want to enjoy golf at a cheap price. They will only feel bad and complain.

We used to play this when it was Ridgewood Lajed and have always enjoyed the course layout. They put a lot of money into the renovations but have not kept up the maintenance. The tee boxes were overgrow the fairways were wet and spotty...bunkers were inconsistent but mostly hard pan. Even the bathrooms were horrible. No sink in one, no lights in another and not maintained at all,

A lot of work would be needed before we would consider coming back. Such a shame

A true test of skill, trouble lurks everywhere. Slope 130 from white tees, 143 from back. Worth the test
