White Heron Golf Club (formerly known as Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club) has had many accolades over its history and for good reason. The Ted McAnlis layout is sculptured from lush rolling land and features immaculate playing conditions year round. Water and natural wetlands come into play on 16 of our 18 holes and the resident breeze can significantly change the course from day to day. Yet despite the natural beauty and obvious pedigree of the layout, with four sets of tees the course is still enjoyable for golfers of all levels.

nice staff (except for the starter), greens in decent shape

Golf shop staff friendly, said due to all the rain many holes were cart path only which makes sense, so don'tdrive on the fairways, etc...then outside the starter old guy seemed abrupt, and after hitting off 1st tee he started barking at us about "no walking on the course, is that clear, you keep the pace, is that clear??" Etc etc wow We are very fast efficient players and this guys rude behavior really soured the game for the first few holes. We've golfed for a very long time and never heard such a rude staff member. The course was otherwise fine.

haha thats aggressive... did it help keep the course pace of play? did it keep people to a 4 hour round, which is what I would expect if someone was this rude/forward.

apart from this completely was the course nice and good layout. Not from the area and was looking at playing it when i stopped by for work. thanks.

Greens were in absolutely beautiful condition; compare very favorably with FSGA 1-day tour courses. Fairways and rough were also quite good. Some bunkers need work

Great public course which continues to improve

the last few times I played . The greens over all

we’re in good shape. The tee boxes were the rye was planted made them green. Being the start of the winter season it is in good shape.

Great greens, good value

The tee boxes and fairways were quite good, bunkers okay, greens were fast and held shots well - best greens I played all week. I will return here for sure next trip.
