Got to the course found the front 9 was not playing had to play back twice wouldn’t have booked had I known

Played Monday morning. Course wasn't busy. Took us 4 1/2 h. Stuff was friendly. Layout is nice with wide fairways. Course is in OK shape. Greens are better than the fairways and the fairways are better than the tee boxes. But they really take care about the bunkers, which is pretty unusual to me down here. So thanks for that. Would go there again for that money.

The staff at the golf club and on the course were nice, but there was no food or drink cart available. You have to call when you’re at the 8th hole—good luck getting an answer. When I finally reached someone on the 9th, I was told, “I have to put you on hold…”

There was no food to go, no prepared sandwiches, and the response from the kitchen staff was, “Just write a review on Google.” Wow—so here we are.

All the rest of the staff were really nice..

Bring your lunch if you want to eat something else .

About the only things we found we didn’t like was greens really needed some water, and don’t care for the change in the way we played the course going off the ninth first, we liked it better the other way. All in all we had a fun time, and enjoyed the couple we played with.

The golf course plays tough. But, it’s in amazing condition Staff at The White Heron is one of the greatest groups of guys you’ll ever meet. Also , the food in the “ Nest” is delicious and extremely resumable.

The course conditions were terrible, the fairways had little grass, it felt that you were hitting dirt. One of the bogeys of my group turned off, I Think a $95 green fee is too much expensive for a course with that Poor conditions.

White Heron is a fun course to play. Lots of risk/reward holes and strategically placed water hazards. The conditions are a bit rough as the course is a victim of the drought conditions and economics. For roughly 70 bucks in peak season I call it a good value and definitely will play again. I found the staff friendly from the pro shop, starter and bartender. GPS on the cart was helpful too.

Played 27 yesterday. Conditions were wonderful. Staff was awesome. Come here every year and will definitely come back! Great day!

Have played this course a lot and always enjoyed it. However fairways are now mediocre and greens are now very poor. So disappointed, could not really recommend it at present, hard to enjoy when the greens are so poor.Hopefully they manage to improve them.

Way too expensive for the price, will not return

Great layout. Greens need work. Got paired with a couple. He was VERY SLOW. Kept wishing for a Marshal to show up to speed him along. Never happened.

Played here decades ago when it was Ridgewood Lakes. Greens were good but fairways could use a little TLC
