Heron Bay Golf Course

Hadn’t played here in a year or so because some Doctors group started turning this TPC course into a cow pasture. New owners have taken care of that. Green we’re a bit slow but that probably was from the rain the night before. The rough is now easier to find goof balls that aren’t hit on the fairway. Overall had a great time on this course.

What to say? I don't even know where to begin.

The entire place looks dilapidated and disappointing. The course conditions are awful. The layout is one of the most boring in all of South Florida.

At least they finally have new carts. The old ones belong in a junk yard.

The management is terrible and unfriendly. It really seems they are in above their head. Previous experiences at the course have been less than welcoming. The attitude is very self centered and doesn't cater to customers wants or needs. A real let down.

ClubLink should definitely consider selling this property off to someone who is actually willing to spend some money on upkeep and also hire employees that care about their job. They have sold Woodlands to a developer to build more and more homes n site and to eradicate the course completely.

Course was challenging with lots of bunkers and wind. Course was in good condition, although course facilities could be updated and in working order. Would definitely play it again from different tees.

I just love this course: nice layout, friendly staff and good lunch after golfing.

Restrooms need to update.

Cart guys were great, cart girl was great, staff all together were great. However, I couldn't believe the offered fresh coffee (not fancy stuff) and charging for it!! Here's the kicker..... while issuing us vouchers for free draft beer, but the coffee aint so cheap. It was presented to serve yourself as you exit the pro shop with a tiny sign that stated the price, which my fellow golfers didn't see until it was too late. It was actually comical, especially for a guy that doesn't drink coffee.

Great layout, beautiful setting, greens smooth and true.

This is the worst conditioned course I've ever played. Every shot resulted in an embedded mud ball. Took all the fun out of the game. At least by switching the nines they got rid of that horrible human that served as their starter

Le terrain est très bien il y a beaucoup de fosses de sable en jeu. S’il on enlève le fait du terrain détrempé c’est un beau terrain côté qualité prix.

Seul B mol les nids de fourmis rouges ( fire ants) très désagréable mais les employés étaient à l’œuvre pour les éradiquer.

I see why it is so cheap. Poor condition, no sand in traps. only positive is nobody plays there! Try others!

The golf attendant at the golf shop(Diana)was excellent.

I have played this course alot and I have never seen the fairways and rough in worse shape...I will never go back it almost was unplayable. . The greens were fine but very little grass in faiirways, mostly crabgrass and tufts of weeds...sad for a former pga tour stop....the residents must be angry they live in golf community and can't play their home course

Don't waste your time or money! Total goat ranch, minus the goats, even they could keep the fairways in better shape. You could use the bunkers for the newest skate park. Losing balls in the fairways because of the 2 inch trim. 30 minutes at the turn to get a hot dog, seemed to be a problem for the pretender to do anything. Sad days for this former good property. I really feel bad fr the homeowners who were duped into buying here as it brings a new meaning to "country" club.

Enjoyed playing this once great course. It is a shame to see such a nice layout fall under neglect. Weeds everywhere, greens bumpy and slow. Still had fun. Good value. I was just hoping for a little better conditions.

I played this course as my summer course when I played weekly. It has gone down a bit. No cart girl on course that we saw. They sold us a promotion and we could not use it because there was a function in the bar that was private. Luckily the cart girl who we saw never until we finished was willing to see if she could get us some food and beer that we paid for. The people were very nice but the experience was lacking. The course flip flopped and the driving and putting range were now off the 10th green and was not convenient. Why they did it?? Not golfer friendly. I still like the course and it will be one of my go to courses unless the course maintenance quality continues to drop.

Great value. Lots of sand so challenging but all in all a good course and great value.
