Diamond Valley Golf Club is an easy drive into Hemet Valley from a number of locations including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Though it's easily accessible, the course is tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, offering a feel of peaceful seclusion. The layout encompasses a variety of terrain, from scenic waterscapes to lush, rolling hills covered with native plants and grasses. With dramatic elevation changes from tee to green, this course isn't walker friendly, which can easily be overlooked if you're looking for a truly formidable test. The sloping nature of the landscape lends a different character to each hole and the elevated tees provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. One of Diamond Valley Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th. It's as scenic as it is challenging, requiring a short iron to wedge shot over a cascading waterfall.

Can't beat the value!
For $23.99 at noon on a weekend you could not beat this deal! We were able to tee off on time, the pace of play was great, and the course conditions (with the exception of slow spongy greens) were awesome. The course was lush green and in great shape and we received good customer service as usual (thank you Dick and Anna). I would recommend this course to anyone! We will be back.
Watering, slow greens both made it almost unplayable
Without prior warning by the rude owner-starter we were constantly avoiding the automatic sprinkler system. While putting on a green a sprinkler went off 6 inches from me! Another went off soaking our cart and equipment. If that wasn't adventurous enough the greens were all very slow and almost unplayable.
The golf course seemed to be operating on a shoe string budget and hurting for customers. With that being said, they should try to bend over backwards to insure a pleasurable golfing experience!
Still slow!
The course is in very good condition, particularly the fairways. The greens are still very slow after this seasons' overseeing, but I'm sure after a few weeks, they will be back to normal.
Nice Layout
They were over seeding bu the course was still playable. Nice variety of holes that keep you interest. Friendly staff - Could of lower the green fees due to the over seeding.
fun and challenging
Golf course was in good condition and the greens were very good
Poor customer service
Got a hot deal for 3 golfers on a hot sat afternoon. The lady in the pro shop treated us like dirt probably because we didnt pay the normal rate.Wouldnt give us 2 carts untill the 4th mystery golfer who never came showed up. Had to walk quite a distance in 100 deg heat to the range and back only to hassle more about letting us go ontime with no one on the tee because the 4th wasnt here yet.course was great for the price, wouldnt expect anymore but pro shop lady makes me not want to return!
Good course in Hemet
The course is laid out well, not the typical city course surrounded by homes. The fairways are wide enough to allow for some left to right movement, but missing the fairway usually means the loss of a ball, the rough is all high desert scrub brush that is not pleasant to walk through. The sand traps are a little thin on the sand so plan accordingly if you find yourself in one. While there is water on the course it is generally not in play unless you lose the ball to the right or the extreme left off the tee. The Greens are remarkable soft for the area the course is in. They roll fast and true.
cart is not free
came out to play in the afternoon, flew around the course, nice track but very dry, more so than other courses in the area
Bought tee time on golfnow, but was charged $10 for the cart that was shown as free theother golfer wanted to play alone and was a really new golfer, must of shot 130
watchout!!!!
it was like100 degrees and I'm 60 so walking in the heat was not an option so I paid them
there were many many unused carts soooo I suppose it's just a way of getting an extra $10 if you don't want to drive with someone else
Great out if the way place
Actually played very well you wouldn't know it when you first drive up but we had a great time. Some of the holes are very challenging to stay in the fairways. I will definitely play it again.
Nice greens to put on good smooth rolls
Very nice course tucked nicely down below the hills. A little drive to get to but worth the ride. Economical price and value for the course.
Course has narrow and undulating fairways.
The course is in great shape with green fairways and smooth but tricky greens. There are undulating, narrow fairways and well protected greens, so plan ahead each and every shot. Wide t shots and inaccurate irons got me in lots of trouble and cost me big time. The bunkers are compacted and splashing out worked best. I guess staying out of bunkers would be best, right. A challenging, interesting course that requires good course management. Would play again and recommend to others. A diamond in the rough.
Avrage Experience
The course was not busy and checked in 20 minutes early. The owner said come back in 10 minutes. Came back in 10 minutes and he said waiting for 3 ball come back in 10 minutes. 3 ball tee'd off at my time 15 minutes late!!! There was no reason we could not have started before them. It was 4 hour round (average) but if we had gone out first we would have finished in just over 3 hours. because we paid the reduce Golfnow rate owner did not want to change tee time.
We had to walk to putting green without cart. Not impressed with customer service, not friendly.
Diamond Valley
Diamond Valley is a tough course with some long holes some tricky holes and quite a few elevation changes. Like all of the courses in Socal, evidence of the current drought can be seen on the course, that said the course is in amazingly good shape as are the greens. This course challenges you to hit long, hit your target and putt well. Personally, I wouldn't have it at other way. Play well my friends, play well!
Overall Very Nice
Course is in overall great shape, especially due to water shortages in SoCal. The greens are my only real complaint. #10 greens are by FAR the best greens on the course due to the type of grass. The other greens are like thinly shaved fairway grass greens. They are hard(due to water I'm sure). For the price, great course. I've always had high expectations for this course, but it's location is so far away from everything, I guess people just don't like to go there.
Awesome Golf
For the state to be in drought conditions the course was lush the greens were beautiful. Overall experience was terrific can't say the same for my game but thoroughly enjoyed the round will return to play again.
The course
The course offers a variety of obstacles on any given hole, but was in excellent condition.
good course with very reasonable pricing
Course was in good shape. Greens were a biy bumpy. Still recovering from punched greens.
First timer
My first time it's was really nice course!! I will be back!!
Hidden jem
