Strawberry Farms Golf Club

When our Fourth of July holiday trip to Yosemite was canceled, we found ourselves with a day off on a Monday. We’ve played Strawberry Farms just one other time, but it’s so difficult to find tee times on the weekends. So we gave it a shot and found a great time.

The course was beautiful, just as we remembered from the first time that we played here. The course looked to be in great condition except for hole 10 which was under construction. Greens were fast. Hole placements varied with a couple quite close to greenside bunkers. Not nice, ha ha!

Our only complaint has nothing to do with the course itself. It was the automation in the carts with the obnoxious beeping when going through the construction zone. As well on Par 3’s A large window that shows a close-up of the green layers over the top and cannot be dismissed. I mean, I get it. It’s a part three so you can see it with your own eyes. So maybe you don’t need an overview. Choices are nice.

Got a great deal on a twilight time. Service members were all very friendly and they got a new cart to us in no time when ours ran low on battery. Greens were soft and pure, fairways well kept, tee boxes great as well. If I were paying more than $100 a round I would probably be more picky, but for a $50 twilight round this course exceeding my expectations.

I wouldnt play here until at least mid may. Greens just punched. Love this course though. Front 9 is meh but the back nine is amazing.

Took care of our bags to the cart and send us off to first tee in time. Very nice young man

On time start, nice staff, free balls at range w round is very cool. It’s not in the best of shape, rough around the edges but very playable and greens run true and fairly fast. Fun day and pace was good, last few holes had some wait times but otherwise excellent.
