Westridge Golf Club
About
Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,600 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Not for older players with a heavy cart bag
Don't play this course if you have a large cart bag. There is not cart access to the car park. You must carry your bag down (and back up) a steep flight of stairs. If you ask for a ride to your car you will be told "no, assistance is not available".
Easy to book the tee time
Tee time booking was able to allow more than 10 days before the actual playing date.
Course in good shape other than bunkers need sand and that this course does not let you book singles
Great course for the price
Fist time here, nice layout great pace . overall a great golf day .. Lost 5 balls but worth it !
Nice public course
It was good to play some strategic and interesting courses.
Don’t waste your time
Came here around 9:40 for our 9:56 am tee time. We had to wait on the tee box until 10:05 am because it was backed up even on the first hole. We couldn’t even finish our round, cause it was gonna take us 6 hours to get to hole 18. The Marshall is never around to keep the pace of play and we constantly backed up at least 2-3 parties each hole. The conditions of the fairways are not very good and unless you have 6-7 hrs of free time to play DONT waste your time giving your business to Westridge. 3rd time playing here, hoping it would have improved but it’s only gotten worse. Will never play here again.
Good course - Most of the staff are friendly
Played early Sunday morning and course moved well. The staff in the clubhouse and the Marshall riding around the course were friendly 👍🏼 The starter, not so much.
Overall I recommend the course
Nice staff and course !
I have played here several times and i always enjoy my experience at Westridge. The young lady in the golf shop was very sweet and helpful and I enjoyed speaking to the friendly staff.
The course was fun and challenging! I like the views and had a lot of fun and will return soon ...
OK to Play
Overall the course was decent. The greens were nice. A couple of sand traps had water in them. The rough needed some upkeep...too rough and a few fairways had lawn growing instead of a short nice fairway grass. But OK considering.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Good: price for the green fee, friendly staff and starter, teed off 15 mins early. The Bad: unmaintained fairways, patches of dirt on the fairway, 5 hours to finish the round, and divot filled greens (not Westridge’s fault). The Ugly: 97
