You get what you pay for
This is a beginners course. Very inexpensive which is nice but some of the greens and fairways are in terrible shape. Flat and really no major hazards- it's wide open. If you are working on your putting, this is not the course to practice on. Sand, bald spots, chunks of green missing, it's kind of a disaster.
T-Box
The t-boxes need some serious attention, otherwise the course was favourable, also fairways and greens need some attention
Pace of play horrible
It’s a very well course for the pay in the Glades. The staff has always been amazing, but I just hope that one day they respect the tee times because the pace of play is one of the worst in all the courses I play in. It’s not normal to have a teatime and have 8 karts waiting to tee off. Liter literally. About 15 min between each stroke.
Either send players out during their actual tee times or drop the price permanently to twilight hours. I always recommend that it’s a good course of playing, but I also tell everyone that if you’re not the first player teeing off in the entire day, expect to be so frustrated with the pace of play.
Fun little course. Work in progress
I enjoy the Glades. I play here almost once a week to work on my game at a low cost.
It isn't the best course out there but you get what you pay for. They seem to be putting some work into the greens. So hopefully, they will be decent at some point.
The staff is amazing and so is the food in the restaurant.
Good for golfers like me (120+)
For the price, this course was great. I played early but paid $27USD for 18 holes and a cart. Back home - Ontario - 18 holes and a cart is going to cost about $75USD at my local municipal course. The tee boxes were not in great condition, and some of the greens were a bit patchy. All the bunkers have been taken over by grass, but all of this is completely and easily ignored by someone like me who is just out to hit some balls, drink some beers and have a good day.
Pros/cons
Pros: the grass was nice holes were fun great staff great pro shop nice people they picked me up from my car and dropped me off and the carts were amazing had a great time
Cons: fairways was full of sticks and leafs but can’t blame the people for that. That’s just nature. The course holes were a little short for my liking but it helped me with my pitching and short drives
Beginner course
Greens were decent. Tee boxes, fairways, not so much.
Good Day
We enjoyed our round . Seemed busy but no delays. Do hope they improve the bathrooms on the coarse. Will be back
Good for short game
The course is a little different than most other courses in this one is mainly par 4 and 3 holes
The fairway is a little rough and greens are hit and miss some ok some terrible
The price at $35 is good but it is rough around the edges as I mentioned it is great for practicing your short game but it is not a serious round of golf by any imagination
