Pines at Woodmont Country Club
About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Staffing Issues
The course was on the dry side which is acceptable considering the lack of rain. Greens were fantastic and as fast as PGA Tour greens.
There was no starter at 2pm and we were advised that he had already left which lead to confusion at the first tee. We saw no on course rangers to attempt to increase the pace of play resulting in four hours and 5 minutes for 15 holes when darkness put paid to our round.
Good course, great greens, friendly staff of which more are needed.
Great course and conditions
The Cypress and Oak courses were great. Not too much trouble but still challenging
Moved along well
Food at the turn is higher thsn i usually expect but its fresh. Sherry cart woman was awesome!
Great course
Great course and a good challenge. But a bit expensive due to the season where there is heavy demand. Very nice finishing 18th hole. And they have night golf sometimes.
Very nice course
Good condition, nice layout.
Our teetime was 15 min late and a lot of waiting. It came dark and we couldn’t see to play all holes.
Newly Renovated
The pro shop and the employees were extremely nice when arriving to the course. The clubhouse looks new, the chip and putt area is new, and the course itself was in great shape. The greens are lightening fast, the course layout is interesting (lot of water!!), and the sand bunkers are clean. My only complaint was the occasional shiesty tee box, but most were great. Bathrooms on the course could be updated but there were 2 that were in good shape. Cart girl was nice. Hot dogs were very pricey.
Course was in great condition.
The course was in great condition from the fairways to the greens. However, the layout of the course was very confusing. We never did find the 18th hole.
The course is finally out of Intensive care!
With the opening of the back 9 Cypress (now called the Oaks), the course is finally out of intensive care! The greens for both front and back 9 Cypress are in very good condition with acceptable speed. Although there are some works in progress on some tee boxes, they won't affect players having fun.
Mostly good
The Cypress course (9holes) was really good. The greens top notch. The Pines (second 9 ) was nothing short of atrocious. So that put a damper on the whole. You have so long between holes. And the green ae laughable.
