Pines at Woodmont Country Club

About
The Pines is one of two championship golf courses at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac. It and the Cypress Course share a gently rolling landscape that is sprinkled with mature trees, which frame the views from the elevated tees. While they share the same terrain, the courses offer very different challenges. The lengthier Cypress requires both distance and accuracy while the Pines Course will get you thinking. It is a shot maker's course that will test a variety of skills. Course management is key as is a well thought out strategy for every hole. The layout features undulating greens and tree-lined fairways that also place a premium on accurate shot placement. In addition to the golf courses, Woodmont C.C. also has a driving range and two putting greens for golfers to use.

Terrible greens
What a shame. They have let the greens go recently. This used to be a great course but now the greens are in absolute terrible shape. The first 3 or 4 greens are the worst I have ever played. Currently not worth what they are charging! I hope they can fix them soon.
Course maintenance needs improvements
Greens are spotted not in good shape. Samething with tee off boxes. Lack of sand in the sand trap. In conclusion, the price charged to play this course is not justified.
weather
the decision it not good rain 15 november and april
fast round
barely no one at the course so I played in under an hour. Friendly staff.
Worst greens all year
Lay out alright. The greens were just terrible not worth
The 60 $ l payed in green fee. No driving range.
What a change 6 months make
In April 23 the greens were outstanding, today they are terrible. Last winter I played here 2 times/week. Until the conditions get better (hope they do, this is one of my favourite course in the area) I will stay away. Not worth the $.
Not welcoming
This is particularly for Dave the starter. I play golf once a week and had a tee time moved ahead because of a “tournament.” I payed $81 only to be kicked off the course early. Then was told to head to Pines course where it would be wide open on the back nine. Only to be in a packed course surrounded by foursomes. When you pay this much you should be treated fairly, respectfully, and be shown some kind of friendliness. Dave told a group to move past us, slowing the game down more, then had the nerve to say we were playing to slow. His last words were I’m kicking you off at 10 to 1 no matter where you are at. Never again will I play here and I will make sure my local friends who play daily find somewhere else to play.
Woodmont
This is one of the better courses in Broward County. It’s always in good shape and fun to play.
