FUN COURSE
THIS IS A GREAT COURSE!!! I PLAY THIS COURSE ABOUT 5 TIMES A YEAR!!!
Great Value—Love the Layout
Played here 8 or 9 times. Biggest complaint is how the course holds water. And greens are average at best. But a fun layout and maybe the best value in the area for afternoon golf. Nice staff and newly reopened bar/restaurant, although I didn’t try it. It’s worth the time to go.
This is an honest review.
This is an honest review. If you want a decent course to play that’s not expensive this might be your option. Do not expect the greens to be rolling well or true for that matter. I have been playing this course for about 20 years and it’s always been the same. Honestly unless you’re super close it’s pretty much hitting them firm as you can and hope it goes in. They are always fury and they don’t roll them at all. The sand traps are more like dirt traps and if it rains they turn into mud traps. The track is very fun to play though as the layout is cool. Lots of serene landscape and wildlife too. Pace of play usually is kind of slow due to the caliber of players but it’s not awful. So again for the value it is decent and I would recommend going and checking it out.
Enjoy this course
We have played this course several times and enjoy it. This time it was cart path and rough only do to heavy rain we have been getting. You can’t get that information from Golfnow when you book the round in advance. It still wasn’t a bad day, 80 degrees and partly cloudy so walking to your ball wasn’t an issue.
Hidden Gem
This course has a terrific layout. As challenging as you would like it to be. Has the best set of par 3's of any course around the area. Condition of the course is excellent for the price, and with recently improved staff and friendliness, you can't go wrong.
Some holes need work
This is a fun course with some tricky holes. The week days are wide open.
I’ll be back.
Slow greens
Back nine has a cute layout. If putting on the greens were not like putting on Velcro I would have given a better recommendation. With that said, for a $22 fee including cart, it is worth the cost.
