Falcon's Fire Golf Club

Due to our travel schedule we had to book a late afternoon tee time. Just two of us. Only option is to book 18 holes even though they list available times as late as 6:00. We started around 5:15 and before we got to the third hole they started sending messages through the GPS that you had to be done by 7:50. Then a couple of holes later they said 7:30. Then changed it to 7:40 and finally settled on 7:45.

I totally understand that starting at 5:15 would probably not allow us to get 18 holes in but at least offer the option to purchase a 9 hole green fee instead of gouging us for all 18 and then dancing around with how long we have to play.

And the staff could use some customer service training. Not very helpful at all.

New management is making it better, the use of a starter and course marshalls is noticeably improving the time for 18 holes here on a weekend, 2 weeks in a row on a saturday got through in 4 hours, big improvement. Course is constantly being worked on and greens are rolling better than the have for the last 3 years (used to be very slow and unpredictable), many bunkers still need work but many the sand was soft like they should be. definitely improving.

Unbelievable value at under $50. I was able to walk out without any issues and didn’t catch-up to the group in front of me until the 13th hole. Carts have GPS and keep score. I would highly recommend

Although the course isn't the prettiest at the moment it is much improved from our last round and is still good for an afternoon round where you can take advantage of the lower pricing. Some good driving holes and some challenging approaches to the greens. The staff are always very friendly, Shawna was very welcoming and helpful.

Second time I’ve played here in the last two years. Very welcoming staff and great clubhouse. The course is laid out very nice but conditions seem like they are slipping. Bare spots on greens and unkept bunkers.

Super super super slow pace. Took me more than 3 hours to finish the back 9. Horrible experience. Bunkers are horrible, they look like a swamp. Fairways are good, greens are ok.

Beautiful pro shop and great staff! Nice carts with GPS. Course has a great layout, but there are some very dried out areas, mostly in the green side areas. Bunkers are thin on sand so if you end up in there you’re likely getting a hard pan shot. Greens were punched, but very well done so it played very little role in speed or putting line consistency.

Very friendly accommodating staff. Very good condition in all regards. Slow foursome added close to an hour to the round unfortunately

I recently went back out to falcons fire after hearing good things. I played it back in February and the greens were in rough shape. I have to say things have gotten much better. Greens and fairways are in very good condition. One of the guys who works there told me they have a new greenskeeper that’s been on board close to 3 months. The cart guys, pro shop staff and beverage cart were very helpful like always. I’ll definitely be putting falcons fore back on my regular rotation of orlando area courses.

It took 4 hours 15 minutes to play 15 holes, and there were no Marshalls on the course to improve the speed of play. We stopped playing when the rain arrived.

It was also disappointing that the aeration program was not listed on the site before we booked, something other courses have been doing.

The course layout is interesting, particularly with so much water in play but the pace of play needs to be urgently addressed.
