About
Hammock Creek Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Legacy Design, is a fabulous daily fee layout on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Opened in July of 1996, the Club has hosted several local, state, and national competitions. Featuring five sets of tees from 5,045 to 7,131 yards, the golf course is a favorite for both locals and snowbirds alike. The practice facility offers one acre of celebration turf to satisfy the most ardent game improvement golfers. The centerpiece of the Hammock Creek community though is the clubhouse, which completed an extensive renovation in October of 2020. The restaurant, verandahs, and dining deck offers breakfast and lunch daily, with a variety of daily and weekly specials to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite.

Nice course
Nice course nothing very special about the layout everything is right in front of you wide fairways , greens were just ok, but it has been raining a lot in this area . Will try it again

Best golf experience in South Florida
Second time to Florida and have played many different courses. This is absolutely our favourite course on the west coast of Florida. Designed by Jack Niclaus its both eye candy and a great golf experience for all hcp levels. This course have less water and houses are placed in good distance from the holes, which gives the player more relaxed attitude to the game.
It had been raining hard the day before our game but the course was still playable. Greens where in perfect condition. We are from Sweden and was paired together with father and son from Quebec in Canada. Best pairing in a long time with smile on our faces from first to last hole.
Staff is very friendly and compliments both to the ranger and proshop staff. We will be back next year!!

golf friendly
This course is very playable and we enjoyed our round. The greens were in good condition but were slower than I like (probably running about an 8 on the stimpmeter.)

Well worth the drive
Course was very nice. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. First time I have ever golfed here and they were amazing helping me out. I will come back and play again!

Great Facility But Slow Greens
Staff was excellent and very attentive which is nice, because I have noticed some very average staff in numerous south florida courses.... It's a great layout and fun to play. Lots of tee options and wide fairways. My only complaint is that the greens were SLOW SLOW SLOW. It really detracted from an otherwise excellent spot and good value.
While we're happy you enjoyed our customer service and course layout, it's disappointing to hear that the pace of play was not up to our usual standards. We'd like to offer our sincerest apologies for that - we want your time here to be well-spent! We hope to see you back for an improved round in the future.

My first time on a Jack Nicklaus designed course
It felt very special to play this course. Being from the netherlands it was quite an experience.
Pity we were not allowed to tee of on a later time. No one started behind us! We took a wrong turn so we arrived much later at the caddiemasters office then planned.
All in all we had a great day.

Very friendly staff in pro shop, starter, and bar. Course in great condition apart from some "T&@T" who vandalised the 7th green, so a temporary one In force.
Look forward to playing there again later in the week.

Course was very well maintained. There was one green on the back nine closed because of vandalism but other than that top notch course

This course has something for everyone, challenging and fun.
Great Value, Great Course
From the moment the golf bag is dropped you are greeted with a friendly smile which carries all the way through the club house eating facility and pro shop. The course has 5 sets of tee boxes that takes water out of play if desired. Course was in good shape after a week of heavy rains. Greens run true and putting is consistent from green to green. Back tees are challenging. A beautiful course to play and enjoy. I will be back.

Amazing Experience!
A friend and I played this golf course today and we had a blast. I'm from Miami, which is 100miles away from this golf course, but this course made our trip well worth it. We played 2 courses today, another golf course in the morning which we had a terrible experience but I'd rather not mention on this review and then Hammock Creek in the afternoon.
As soon as we pulled up to the parking lot at Hammock Creek, we felt welcomed already. We had lunch and the lady was nice and accommodating. Then we checked in at the pro shop and the lady behind the counter was simply the nicest. She was all smile and friendly, you can tell she was happy to see us there, and that's exactly what we want to feel before we start playing.
And then we got on the golf course, from the tee box, to the fairway, and all the way to the green, the whole course is in really great shape. The layout is amazing. Nice selection of tee boxes to suit your game. Challenging and yet forgiving. This course really is a must play golf course. Too bad this is really far from where I live, or else I'd play this course all the time.
Overall, I am really happy we made the trip and played this amazing golf course. I'll sure be back to play it again.
