Hammock Creek Golf Club

A really excellent course layout and top notch maintence. Pretty tough course for us beginners with water and deep brush on all sides and often in middle but really pretty. Greens were impeccable even after terrential down pour rain delay in the middle of the round. Staff was excellent offering refund on rental clubs. We decided to rough it out and play through rain, the sun came out and was beautiful sunny day for the rest of the round.

I have played this course numerous times over the past 5 years or so. Each outing has been enjoyable. The course is tough from the back 2 sets of tees (black and gold) and moderately challenging from the blues (the middle tee box where we played). I carded an 81 which is a couple strokes under my typical 12 handicap. Beverage Cart girl was super friendly and attentive as was entire staff. My ONLY issue was that while the greens had decent speed, they were very bumpy even though it's been 2 months since aeration. Definitely worth the value though!

Got there for 8:15a Wed. Tee time about 7:30a. Was told the range was closed..grrr... ok then I was told there is a chipping area and they will sell range balls to me for that! ... ahhh..no.. thanks.. Course was in good shape but had lots of casual water.. 5 plugged balls. Greens actually were slow. Felt like I was at Florida Club slow. Oerall a good day but not great or up to the standard I would normally expect for Hammock Creek.

You won't lose many balls. Rangers need to relax a little bit.

green is reasonable fast. roll nicely.
around 10.5, silly me only made 6 3 putts.

Nestled between single family homes, Hammock Creek is a challenging course that is well groomed and ready play. The pro shop is stocked with great buys on apparel and golf accessories. The location is north of West Palm Beach by 20 minutes.

Drive up to bag drop, the bell rings, attendant unloads your clubs onto a cart. Just tell him your last name. The staff is always great and welcoming. Check in grab your receipt and your off to the first tee. With five sets of tee's to take some of the bite out. I played the white's today and hit 11 fairways. I reached 5 greens in regulation. And I had 27 putts, for a total score of 79. I played 12 shots below my handicap of 19. I was working on Concept Golf, relaxing my shoulders and swinging freely without any tension. The attendant cleans your clubs and will load them back in the trunk, back at bag drop. He broke a ten, I gave him a five.

I booked this on golfnow for $14, so automatically my expectations were far less than if I paid full price. Either way, this is a very nice, well maintained golf course. All the length you want is there if you choose. Greens roll true and fast. Great gps system on carts. Only negative I would say is some of the bunkers are lacking a little sand.

One of the most beautiful semi-private courses in Martin County, fairways groomed to perfection, greens perfect, I dont have one complaint about this course. Everything kept so clean, that includes the homes on the course. I will play it many more times along with my friends. Great price from Golf Now and there summer membership is well worth it....Great Job Hammock Creek you should be proud...

Really nice track to play a round. I especially liked the length of the par 5s, all were reachable in two for a mid handicapper, which is one of those odd little things that will bring us back! Course was in great shape, with a great staff.

Greens very tricky if you don't read the grain properly. Fairways are wide with some bunker challenges. Play longer than most courses. Green protected by many bunkers and steep false fronts.

Very wide open nice course. Very fair greens for a Nicklaus course. Overall it is a fun day golfing at Hammock Creek.

Had a great couple of rounds here. Very playable, fair,fun course.My wife broke 100 for the first time . Wide open fairways,greens true and fast.Bunkers could use more sand but that is nitpicking.If you want a stress free round I would highly recommend you play this gem. Loved it.

A nice straightforward course, not tricky at all. Minimal Nicklaus crazy-greens. I played the old-man (white) tees, just under 6000 yards, and had a very enjoyable day. Greens were mostly excellent, although a few had patches under repair. Fairways and tees were excellent. The houses visible from the course are few and/or not obtrusive. Value rating based on GolfNow hot deal.

Greens dramatically improved since I last played this course. Would recommend play

course in good shape, had a few greens they were repairing, greens rolled great. big landing areas. most of the layout well away from houses,excellent gps shows other carts and hazards.

Well maintained. No one behind us and we started at 8:15. Finished under 4 hours.
