About
Hammock Creek Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Legacy Design, is a fabulous daily fee layout on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Opened in July of 1996, the Club has hosted several local, state, and national competitions. Featuring five sets of tees from 5,045 to 7,131 yards, the golf course is a favorite for both locals and snowbirds alike. The practice facility offers one acre of celebration turf to satisfy the most ardent game improvement golfers. The centerpiece of the Hammock Creek community though is the clubhouse, which completed an extensive renovation in October of 2020. The restaurant, verandahs, and dining deck offers breakfast and lunch daily, with a variety of daily and weekly specials to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite.

New greens with a clean roll
A challenging course with a nice setting. The course is very tough from the edge but fair from the rest of the tees.
its ok, not worth the money
Over priced, over rated, no rangers to manage slow play. The course shut down over the summer did not improve as much bragged about by H C
Nice staff. New greens. Well maintained course overall.
This is the third time in 3 years I've played Hammock Creek. They've done a nice job on the new greens, and the course is in very nice shape. Its a challenging layout, and hitting into the rough may cost you, as it is not cut low in most places.
Great course, new greens, def will return
Few bad spots on fairway, greens BRAND NEW few ungrown spots, greens pretty slow but outside of that the course is absolutely amazing! Great views and def would play again!
Great layout
Played the course after recent green renovations with new grass. They were super fast and hard and rolled very true. Still need time to soften up but excellent overall. Course has an excellent layout and plays long from the back tees. Was in very good condition and will play again soon.
nice layout
A very good golf venue for the money. The "new greens" are only going to improve with the weeks to follow. The clubhouse and staff are very friendly and helpful. I have played this course many times over the years and enjoy the challenge it provides.

Hammock Creek is a very nice layout and great condition.Even though we played the course the week it was about to close for renovation it was still in awesome shape (The greens were killed for renovation and still putted speedy and true)
Re doing the greens?
the greens were literally dead. Meaning no grass on them.
The Greens were in terrible shape! I would not recommend this course at this time.
Great staff, greens had been sprayed with grass killer, for upcoming rebuild. They were in terrible condtion. Staff should have told our group prior to going out on the course. I'veplayed this course many times.
For $20, GREAT deal for a high quality Nicklaus designed course
Played from the blue tees on this well maintained course.
Some recent Nicklaus courses have extraordinary undulating greens. The greens at Hammock Creek are large but do not have large 'undulations'. They are big and firm.
Fairways are well groomed and as with most Nicklaus courses spotted with strategically placed bunkers. Some large long waste bunkers too.
Some very nice long par 5s
Hammock Creek is shutting down June 1, 2013 till about October 15, 2013. Completely redoing the greens. After 18 years, management wants a change.
I will definitely play Hammock Creek again. Hope the green renovations are finished on time. If Nicklaus is redesigning them, I expect more undulations.

Get it while you can, they close June 1 to redo the entire place, Cant wait of October to play it with all new grass!!!
Drove up from WPB cause we love this course, but will not go back cause of how awful the greens and rough were!
Disappointed! Greens are terrible and very slow. We drive up once a year from WPB cause we loved course in the past but won't go back. I asked bag boy what happened to this place and he said they are about to redo greens. They need to redo the rough as well! and they should have discounted rate with greens that bad!

greens were shaggy, apparently they are working on some problems and they are leaving them longer to deal with it

Payed 38$ for the round
Great course for the price we payed. The course is not in the best of shapes, but we didn't expect to find a top shape course at that price.
Enjoyable layout, and if the course is in top shape, expect to pay top dollar!!!!
Greens and starter
The greens are not in top shape, they need some work. Starters should work on their people skills.
