Gorgeous course ruined by consistent SLOWWWWWW play
This is a beautiful course. But unless you tee off 6 hours or more before sundown you may never get to finish because they do nothing to maintain pace-of-play. It is infuriating to a serious golfer (the only kind who should really be playing a course like this). Its terrible. On todays round my foursome (average to very good golfers) have played 4 holes in 90 minutes. No marshall, no enforcing pace of play. And they don’t seem to CARE! That is what is so awful. Do yourself a favor and play Goose Creek if you want a well-managed beautiful course in the Corona area. But this place has so much potential.
Course is playing fast
The course is in very good condition- but playing fast because of the dormant and short grass.
The bunkers were very disappointing- filled with hard pan and lots of rocks. Some were unplayable.
Greens were A+ and fast.
Golf course was remodeled!
I played this course a couple of times over a year ago and it was in bad shape. It had that very bushy look to it with overgrown trees and brush. Not any more! They have trimmed all of the trees and improved fairways and greens drastically. Before, you had to tee off on 1st hole with a dozen people etching you. Now, they only allow one group to he waiting up there. It is still a challenging course but now, it is beautiful and you can pretty much see all of the greens from the perspective tee boxes. I will be back for sure!
Pace of play
Took 5 hours and 25 mins to play.. No ranger although called to the club house serveral times.
Good tough course
I have played Eagle Glen many times. The conditions are back to being very good, if not excellent. Greens were very good and quick. We played later in the day and while the pace of play was not fast, it was not terrible. I enjoyed playing there again.
Beauty and challenge
This course boasts one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses that I have ever experienced. I simply respect!
As fairway was some wet, cart path only for 18 holes. To keep better shape, we cannot help it. Totally excellent
