LPGA International - Jones Course

This was a great place to play. It was a challenging course for us to play. But it was a fun course. I will be back to play it again.

First of all, I love LPGA. I'll be out there again, but they were off their game today. I was one of the first off in the morning. The first three greens were unplayably flooded. I know they just punched and the greens are 90% back, but this was weird. No other part of the course had a water issue at all. Then I pull up to the 18th green and there's no flagstick. I thought my rangefinder had broken. I drove up to the green ahead of my approach to find the stick and/or a hole. There was a hole there but no flagstick in the area...so I put a rake in the cup. Just a weird morning. I wish I'd taken pictures.

Great time from the initial contact to throughout the end of round, superb service for all employee contants.

I really enjoy playing LPGA. Both courses here are very nice and well maintained. The Hills is harder for sure. I played this Jones this go around and even though the greens were punch 2 weeks or so ago, they played very true. Wish I could play here more, but it can be pricey at times.

The greens on both courses are bumpy and the bunkers are packed sand! The fairways and layouts are excellent, the reasons I gave 2 stars overall, instead of 1.

The greens may improve in July but the bunkers have been problematic for years!

Was able to afford to play there through Golf Now. Great To The course is always in great condition!

Remember why I cancelled my membership. Courses are awesome, best public courses in my opinion. However, nothing has changed since new management took over. Have GPS in carts, but didn’t work. Was told by Marshal the satellite was down, lol. Pretty sure satellite is still up there and working. $16 for a large bucket of balls. Only saw cart girl once, and a six pack will set you back almost $30 with tip. Very little on-course refresh stations aside from ancient water fountains with a science experiment growing on nozzle. Bring lots of your own water is all I can say with this heat.

Note…bar inside auto charges you 20% gratuity, which the bartender is quick to point out goes into a pool, so you will tip on top of that. Absurd how much a round of cold beers sets you back. Not the type to bring my own, but it’s ridiculous.

Again, courses great so continue to go back. However, experience overall looks to be an afterthought.

The Jones Course was in excellent condition and the layout is very forgiving. While there is water on many of the holes for the most part it didn’t seem to come into play. However there was one hole on the back nine which was extremely challenging as it required at least 180 yards of carry over a marsh before there was any fairway and this was from the white tees. It was even more difficult from the Blue or Black tees. The greens were in excellent shape but a few of the breaks were difficult to read.

Course in superb shape-tee to green, greens in tremendous shape, staff very helpful and friendly

This is always a course we play when we are in the Dayton Beach area. Never disappoints 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️
