Carved from a thick forest of 60-foot pines, Eagle Harbor Golf Club was perfectly manicured to blend in seamlessly with the natural landscape while providing a formidable test for the low handicapper. The challenging layout features tight, rolling fairways lined with trees and multi-tiered greens. In addition to numerous lakes that come into play, there are also a variety of sand and grass bunkers strategically placed throughout the golf course. The club also offers a unique practice facility that features an island putting green. For the immaculate conditions and challenging round, Eagle Harbor Golf Club has quickly become a favorite among tourists and locals since opening in 1993.

Unprofessional staff
I arrived at 2:15 for a 3:00 tee time. I walked in the pro shop the guy had his hand in a microwave getting food out right at the pro shop counter. I thought that was weird first time I’ve ever seen that at a golf club. He informed us they had a high school match going soon and we had 15-20 min to tee off “I’ll be watching you he said” We drove over an hour from St Augustine arriving 45 minutes early so we could warm up/ chip and putt. That plan got squashed by him wanting to hurry things up for a high school match. I felt unwelcome having to tee off 30 minutes early. On the second hole the cart attendant said they were going home for the day., mind you the grill is closed. Mondays. On the turn the same pro shop worker was out chipping and putting leaving the shop completely unattended. At least he had time to chip and putt. The course was decent. Really nice greens. Management needs to tighten things up or maybe that’s how they treat all non-members?

Monday round
Enjoy layout of this course. In good condition although greens seemed to be cut really short...fast rollers.
Bar and grill closed on Mondays which stunk.

Fun, picturesque course! Greens were fast and fairways green but a little soggy from all the rain. Rough was tough! Definitely try to stay in the fairway. Great layout! Would definitely play it again!

Overall I had a great experience. The course we I great shape from tee box to the greens. The rough though was rough. Went from fairway to thick rough, no first cut. It was challenging you to hit fairways. It’s a great course for experience golfers, not so much for beginners/ high handicappers

Staff was extremely rude
The staff was extremely rude. They started by moving our tee time 18 minutes which was a minor inconvenience but not a huge deal. Next my brother who is high risk wanted to ride in his own cart due to COVID and they refused. We would have paid extra for the cart fee but this wasn't an option and they weren't nice about it at all. He ended up going home and they said we could get a refund for him. When I tried to get the refund they argued and tried to give me only a portion back. I had to push for 10 minutes in the pro shop to finally get my money back. The course was in good shape but the people were unbearable.

Course was I. Poor condition. Had 2 hole closed they tried to make them into pare 3s. Greens were not the best. If I had new I would have booked or played the course.
