About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Enjoyable Round of Golf
I really enjoyed my round at the Fleming Island Golf Club. Course conditions were pretty nice especially with the lack of rain. The greens were fast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pace of play moved right along. I will definitely be back to Fleming Island.
Great as always
Greens are in great shape, quick and true. Rough and fairways still mostly dormant as expected this time of year. Bunkers well maintained with plenty of sand.
Nice track but winter conditions at present
The staff was friendly . The course was a bit dried out but its winter conditions. The pace of play could have been better. It was good value.
FI country club
Great course for the money. It is always in good shape. Pace started slowly but pocked up as the round progressed.
Course is overplayed
Course and range have been overplayed. Tee boxes are bare, fairways have numerous bare spots. I understand the course is dormant, but the overplay is taking its toll on the course. Five hour round also.
Dormant areas but still great
Love this course, fast greens and fairways in good shape. This course has narrow fairways and elevated greens with a few false fronts increasing difficulty. They move the white trees back on 16 par 5, now it’s a 200 carry to clear the marsh. Longer of the wind is in your face. Challenging course with friendly staff.
Birdie Boys
Greens rolling well. Very fast and firm. Fairways and bunkers in good condition. Driving range grass tee area in transition, sandy at this point but there is a very good driving mat area.
,. Friendly staff, good food in the Hibernia pub with good service.
A regular golf course on our rotation.
Nice Course
The back nine is beautiful, the greens were rolling quick. Tee boxes could use some work but the greens were nice and fast so definitely worth playing.
Great fast greens
Haven’t played here for a while,last time I played it was a bit chewed up but this time it was in great condition,the greens are exceptional(apart from unrepaired pitch marks at the front of every green)
All the staff from Cart guys to Proshop to bar staff,all pleasant and affable.
Enjoyed it so much,I booked again the next day while sitting in the bar after the round.
