About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Not a good experience
Golf now and the course ended up double booking my tee time. Was told 2 different reasons as why we were moved to a different tee time, which was 30 minutes after the tee time I reserved. On top of that it was completely backed up and the pace of play was terrible. 5 hour round on top of the moved tee time. Unacceptable!
I do like the layout and the greens were in good shape. Tee boxes need some love. Most were dirt.

Finally, of course that didn't take five hours to play during the week. The greens were fast. The fairways was nice if I had one complaint, it would be the tee boxes need a little work not all of them, but some of them also good discount for veterans hadn't played this course in a long time, but I will be playing it more often. Now that I know how nice it is.
Smooth and fast but fair
Greens were smooth and full, Fairways were beautiful and green. Honestly in great shape!
Slow day
Stuck behind four older gentelmen who looked to be playing at least one tee box too far back and only saw a ranger once - after hole 13 - to try to move them along. Round took 4 hrs 45 minutes. Longest ever at Fleming.
Always a good time at Fleming Island Golf
The course is in great shape, green roll true and fast. The layout is challenging but not penal. I would recommend to all skill levels.
Fun challenging course
First time. We liked the course. Beautiful landscapes and lots of birds singing. Makes for a relaxing game. Definitely a challenge for me; lots of creeks to cross. We aren’t fond of golf carts not letting you near the green. Expect more walking and carrying a few clubs. Fast greens. But worth the day for sure! Had a great time.
Lucky day !!
We got the tee off early because there was a club tournament in the morning and the course was empty. We didn’t see another group until the 15th hole. The course was in great shape absolutely beautiful highly recommend it. The guy in the pro shop was super nice car barn guys were really nice just overall great day.
Excellent Day on the Course
Played last Sunday morning with a buddy and got paired with a couple of great guys. Greens were pristine and rolled beautifully, and the fairways were in excellent condition as well. Staff was super friendly, beverage cart came by several times, basically a perfect day of golf. I've played Fleming Island a couple of times in the past and every time I play I always ask myself why I don't get out there more often!
Great course. Golf now screwed up our reservation!
We made a tee time and got a confirmation from Golf Now, only to arrive at the course and not have a tee time. When the pro shop saw our confirmation they squeezed us in. Great course, great price, awesome food!
Very nice course.
We really enjoyed playing this course. Great layout and the course was in good shape with fast greens. Friendly staff member in cart helped us navigate to the first tee and had a nice chat with him before we teed off. We look forward to our next visit.
Course review 3/14/26
Overall, very nice. Nice clubhouse, good food, cold drinks. Driving range was terrible, just a big sand pit. Everyone there was busting on it. I think they need to work on it. Tee boxes were fair. Fairways were very good, greens were good. Layout shows a lot of water but very little is in play. 5 hr round, I guess that's just the way it is on a weekend. I'd play again, price was very fair. We all had a good time, would have spent more with the drink cart girl but didn't see her but once.
