West at Jacaranda Golf Club

greens bumpy, tee boxes patchy, greens sandy in spots, patchy.. no workers on course, Superintendent rude, Mr. Kevin Fiitts. banned me from the course for telling him it was the worst shape I had seen in 10 years, after having played there at least 150 times, both East and West courses.. He was very rude and hung up on me, but not before saying I would not be allowed to play there any more..

I am a USGA member since 1983 over 36 years and I have never been treated so rudely by anyone at a golf course.. This used to be the jewel of Broward Co. one of the best 36 hole courses, well maintained, great layout, superb food. BUT NOT NOW.. I would rate this facility less than 1 star if that was available...

Great shape, quick greens with occasionally hard to read breaks. Loved the layout, pace of play and staff. Going back again tomorrow.

Jacaranda West is typical FL golf course layout with lot of water on the holes. Most of the water doesn't come into play unless you hit a really bad shot. It's an enjoyable track with nice conditions all around. They have 2 dining areas one is little more formal while other is 19th hole type. Staff was attentive although I found 2 long hair when I got done with half of my panini. Course itself is lacking the wow factor but I would definitely recommend it as great warm up course if you can get a decent deal. At full rate, I would say this course is overrated.

Perfect weather and pairede up with two very nice young men made for a great day. Would have given 5 across the board, but still a bit pricey even with GolfNow rate. Of course it is prime time in Florida.

:Unique layout. All is excellent except as a Canadian, I find It pricy.

Course in very good condition. Nice Firm fast greens.

Flight of 4 played in 4 hours 5 min.

Main restaurant closed mondays though so we had to eat at ”19th hole” which was more than ok.

Don’t hesitate just go for it.

Tees and green needed some love but fairways were perfect.

Jacaranda is my favourite spot in south Florida. We are Canadian and go down for Christmas every year. We play Jacaranda Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (this year we got an extra round on the 26th).

The staff at Jacaranda cannot do enough for you. They are always the best we deal with in south Florida. The proshop staff are great at getting you set up. The bag drop is always accommodating (they let us leave our clubs between rounds). Jacaranda is one of the few courses that you can get a coffee and bite to eat before teeing off. I don't understand why this isn't normal in south florida.

The west course had some dead areas on the green. This is not usual for this course and I hope it is a blip and not the beginning of a pattern. The west course provides a course you need to think your way around with a number of well placed bunkers and tempting dog legs. I play with my dad and he favours the East Course and I favour the west. Both are great and I look forward to rating them back at 5 stars next year.

Good course for the money. Would definitely play again when in the area. Roll Tide!

Course was in great condition. Played in 4 hours as a foursome. Challenging but not tricky.

Enjoyed the layout. Greens were just medium, which was a surprise as the putting green was slick and perfect, but out on the course they were very bumpy.

Pace was very slow, stated around 9am on a Saturday, took 5 hours 20 minutes.

We paid ~$120 per person, Place was worth more like $75.

On course rangers and starters were super friendly and helpful, but there is only so much they can do for pace on a holiday Saturday.

I’ll look forward to playing more often, but not on holidays.

Jacaranda has Pass Pal fairways which are nice and green. I was delighted with the quality of the course and especially the green pass palm fairways which gives you a nice lie, every time.

I played both East and West. Both are very nice. East is longer and more forgiving. West is tighter with more water.
