About
TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Terrible greens
Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Rough and greens are what I would expect a $20 course. It’s more like playing on dirt. They were very inconsistent and I would give it at least a year before trying again.
New greens
Course is in great condition. The new greens are still maturing and are pretty hard. Recommend playing early to try and avoid hundreds of spike marks. Some greens were like putting on the dark side of the moon. Other than that, the staff was amazing from arrival to departure. Highly recommend playing.

Good course, slow greens
Greens should be nicer for the price but it’s a good course.

Great shape
Close to tampa airport. Good greens and some sand and water. A nice challenge. Staff everywhere were great

Stellar Experience
You get what you pay for.
From the minute you pull up, to the moment you leave, TPC is a cool experience.
They put a boatload of cash into it over the summer and it’s paying off.
Tee boxes are great with some picturesque tee shots
Fairways that a like carpet.
Rough that’s better than some other course’s fairways and greens that can roll like a pool table, begging for 3 putts if you’re not careful!
The Gauntlet - the last 5 holes are a great challenge, regardless of the tees you play from.
The price keeps it protected from most that may slow down rounds, so very steady pace of play. Highly recommend!

Krane worthy
Not even two hurricanes could dampen our spirits. Cart path only but a fine test of golf for our first round on this course. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and provided a wonderful atmosphere. From starter to bartender we enjoyed our time there. Have a Gauntlet or Krane cocktail at the end of your round, you’ll earn it. There are plenty of tee options for all types of players. The greens were recently redone and are quite firm. We can’t wait to play it again.

more than 5 hours
Had to wait after every shot. It is a question if 8 minutes is enough between groups. This is q problem at most of the courses we played near Tampa

TPC Tampa -Very Nice
Our foursome had a great time playing TPC Tampa. The course was challenging but not terribly difficult. We enjoyed the layout, the staff, and the clubhouse.
