TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Fun, challenging, but greens where ruff.

Started out at the driving range hitting balls, then when our tee off time started, we got right out on the course. The couple we where paired with where a lot of fun to play with, but the course was very dry, and hard. The fairways where crazy hilly which was fun, and amd there was a lot of water. Then you got to the greens which were sand, slow and the grass was like sand paper instead of grass. This was a lot of fun cause I met new people, and got to play a fun round of golf, on a beautiful day. My only other gripe was seeing the drink lady twice during are whole 5 hour round. Thank you for the memories though, my father and I enjoyed it.

We had a great day today at TPC Tampa. Course was in very good condition. Pace of play was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Course is very playable. Huge greens with lots of bunkers. Lots of collection areas to punish you if you miss the greens. We will definitely be back again
