About
TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Bitterly dussappointed!
Ivevplayed tpc of tampa many times before but this was my first time in a few years. Its a great layout & was always known for immaculate true fast greens. Yesterday thet were shaggy lots of bare patches covered with sand. I had to move my ball a few times so i would have a clear path to the hole. I dont like to badmouth golf courses but they have no right charging the exorbitant fees. 235 dollars on the weekends. Right bow its a 40$ course. I played palntation palms & heritage isles both times for less than 30$. Good layout & much superior greens. I hope the tpc can make drastic improvements soon cus it is a great layout but for now unless they cut their rates drastically its just not worth it.
Great Course
Course was in beautiful shape. Greens rolled super fast. Very difficult short game as a result. Watch for the huge alligator in the pond left of the 10th tee. Staff was excellent. Practice facilities were great as well. It was good to warm up before the first round of the season. Pro shop was well stocked and the restaurant had excellent food, not over-priced. Very challenging layout with water in play on almost every hole.

Mediocre at best
Was expecting way more wow factor out of a 200$ round. Greens were in horrible shape. Def not what I was expecting from a tpc course

Course is no where near worth the money. Beautiful facility and practice area but golf itself is not worth the money. Play saddleBrook or westchase instead.

Super Fun!
We had a blast! Course is in great shape. Greens true, fair, and held shots well. Only drawback is tee boxes could use some TLC. Every one of the staff members we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back as our time allows. Thanks so much!

Played 3 out of 4 at Innsbrook, Not Copperhead Yet! But would play here over the other 3 anytime, and will be Back!

Former Golf Professional
Was in Tampa for a week in March. Very disappointed in the condition of the course. Cost should be around $125 a player for the condition. We played Lake Jovita who has 36 holes and was in much better condition for a better price.

Overpriced
The good: Course is nice, people are nice, ., worth about $100 for a round.
The bad: Didn’t see drink cart until 8th hole but then saw her several times. Our round took over 5 hrs.
The ugly: They Let an extra cart follow the group around in front of us, kids playing in sand traps, etc, not pro level. Must have been important or famous. Don’t care, move along.
Overall: We booked $185 / rd. And decided to do one round that day, instead of two at a local club. Big mistake. Nice course, poor value.

Tired version of a TPC course
Maintenance was merely fair in February. The overeall course was worn unlike perfectly manicured Waterlefe and other private clubs. About 25% over-priced, despite paying $105, There's no way we would pay the prime tee time rates at $168 and higher. Legit course, but abuts the freeway killing the charm. Great recliner chairs in the lobby, but a major disappointment on the course!

A little rough
Love the course, layout, staff is awesome, cart girl was awesome, it’s just that the course wasn’t in $147 shape. Hopefully next year when I’m in Tampa the conditions will live up toTPC expectations.

Solid track that has a lot of potential
This was a fun track that had recently seen a ton of play due to the Super Bowl being in town. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape, as were the rough areas. The greens had taken a pounding though and were rather slow it seemed. They were still getting a lot of play at the course and the range was well taken care of. They had a lot of nice things in the Pro Shop and the restaurant was vibrant and busy. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. I imagine Covid has skewed a lot of otherwise great amenities but we had a lot of fun regardless.
