TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Played this course twice and love it, great contours and flow,

The greens are pristine as are the fairways. I have played twice and made it a tradition to book a tee time each time I visit Tampa now.

The TPC name is overvalued

This was just a regular parkland course. It was nothing special compared to the surrounding courses at 1/3 the price. I don't want to be too provocative here, but its almost fraudulent to brand this course with TPC and charge accordingly.

Post Tropical Storm Debby

Course layout was great as usual, but the water burns from flooding wreaked havoc on the fairways and Tee Boxes from the storm that blew through a week earlier. Greens were still recovering from being punched and were slow and rough. Top dressing around greens had excessive surface sand everywhere. The course needs a few more weeks to recover and the cart path only rules made for a 6 hour round on a Friday mid morning. They were issuing reduced, replay coupons having recognized the conditions. It will come back but far from TPC standards currently.

Course is awesome but definitely the TPC step child

Course just underwent fairway and tee boxe aeration

Also rough was cut all the way down and is burnt out.

Greens still rolled well but the rest of the course needs a few weeks

TPC was in great condition and well taken care of! Greens were challenging making it tough but that’s part of the game and I loved it! Pro shop had all the goods with some 40% off apparel. I will definitely be playing this course every time I’m in the area ⛳️🏌🏾‍♂️ well deserved 10/10

What an experience

The golf course is challenging and fun! It is amazing to think that this golf course can be in such great shape on July 3 when it's brutally hot and there hasn't been much rain at all. The fairways are lush. The greens have a beautiful roll to them and the entire layout is beautiful. Enjoyed some food before the round that was absolutely delicious and the service was second to none. I totally recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great day of golf food drink and fun.
