Lansbrook Golf Club

4 1/2 hour round, only because some stopped playing. 2 1/2 hour first nine holes.. Called evening before to see course conditions, was told no cart path only holes.. There was 1 hole cart path only.. They never tell you the real conditions.. Some holes were wet, especially by tee boxes..

Greens were good, pretty fast.. No rangers out there getting slow players to move along... They can do better. Prices have increased greatly. Will only get my business once in awhile. If rates stayed the same for florida residents as in the summer, they would get my business several times a week, even when the temperature reaches 96% and only locals would play.. Just saying !

Friend came to town to golf for a week. Played many different public courses. Lansbrook was the only course we played that is watering its fairways in this drought. Best course for the money.

This courses was jammed packed like a can of sardines. The tee boxes were well kept but everything after that was down hill. Fairways had tons of soggy spots making the area unplayable. Greens in serious need of TLC (why so much sand on greens?!?!) and the Bunkers might as not exist because they were basically holes of clumped dirt and have been untouched by the staff in a while. Best part of my rounds was leaving this place.

Great round of golf, little slower than usual about 5 hours, but at 10:30 on Sunday with a high of 75 what can you expect. Not much from a clubhouse but cart gal saw us 4 times. Course is well maintained, rather challenging and well worth the greens fee.

Actually they have been putting the time to make the course look nice, greens are great t boxes are nice.

Pace of play is ok but it was packed so a 5 hours round you will get.

Overall, the course was in fairly good shape, with lots of new sod in problem areas. Greens were relatively fast and in great shape. This isn't a long course, but it is super tight on many holes. Might be wise to consider fairway wood or hybrid off some tees.

Check-in was quick and friendly. Saw the cart woman 3 or 4 times. Could have used a marshal to speed up the foursome that was intent on finding as many balls as possible and backed things up. Not unusual in FL.

Paid for 18 holes.. Got to the par 3 eleventh hole and it was closed. Repairs going on, exceot nobody there working on it. Several holes are wet in places especially by the tee boxes.. Not worth the money they charge..

Played here many times over the years, a decent layout with some extremely challenging holes (if you can't keep the ball straight)

The greens are fast and true and in great shape. There is a lot of money being spent here to improve certainly the par 3's and some of the more recognised problem areas.

Still a bit rough around the edges but as they say in the song.... things can only get better.... well done all and here's hoping for a sucessful winter.

Lansbrook course is well maintained, however, couple of holes had maintenance going on that interfered with play. Fairways are often tight and require control. Greens are in good shape and have some challenging slopes. Several fairways had many practice balls in and along the fairway. These are not holes aligning with the practice range. It caused some confusion.
