The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

I have played the Eagles courses for several years and have watched the course fall into worsening disrepair over the last year. Today's round was the worst. There was no grass on the tee boxes and nothing but weeds. The fairways were dry and grass was spotty at best. The greens were OK but they all have diseased areas with little or no grass growing there. This was our last time going to The Eagles as it is terrible and makes for an unpleasant round and experience. The clubhouse is nice and the staff are courteous.

They did have crews working on one hole so maybe they have begun improvements. However, it will take the course months to recover to being a desirable golf venue.

Avoid this course!

Do not pay to play here, as of May 2026 course was in absolutely the worst shape I’ve ever seen a golf course in. They are redoing the irrigation, I get it, but why still charge people $90 to play here? They should close it entirely until it’s fixed, I wouldn’t even pay $20 to play a course in this shape. As it is, I feel scammed, and I will never play the Eagles again. Unbelievable…

Sandy fairways, roughs, and tee boxes. Greens were the only thing ok. Needs water but its too late. This place has gone totally down hill. Do not spend more than 25 dollars but I won't play here any more.

We chose this course for a short trip to Florida. Based off of their YouTube drone flyover video, the course looked great. That was a very false video to say it nicely. Tee boxes were just sand pits and the greens were horrendous. Maybe they can get it back in shape in a few years but for the near future, I would not recommend anyone waste their time playing this course. Side note, I left my rangefinder on the cart and went back the next day only to get a “we didn’t find anything” comment.

This might be one of the worst courses in the region as a result of horrific greens and poor fairway conditions. They clearly have zero concern for the upkeep because it’s been this way for a while and gets worse. Greens are eaten up from what looks like fungus causing your puts to jump and move directions. The sand traps are eroding and in horrible shape. Fairways are in poor condition. Even at $65 this course is way overpriced! This should be a $20 course. The clubhouse and food are nice, clearly that is where the sink all their money!

Half the course was dead grass or dirt. Hole 5 was closed

The course needs some work. It used to be in better condition but many holes right now have sandy greens. I wouldn’t play here for the going rate but would go again if a hot deal pops up because I do like the layout.

At lest six greens completely covered in sand.

Should have been offered some sort of reduced fees.

I enjoyed the Lakes course at The Eagles. I've played the Forest a couple times and always heard Forest was nicer. I thought Lakes was very nice and in good shape.

After the first 9 I went over to the Forest side and it was in horrible shape. The greens were a disaster!!! I would not play there again in that condition of disarray.

We played this course 6 months ago and it was in disarray. The rough had not been mowed, a foot high, and the tees, fairways and greens all needed attention. We gave it a 2.5 rating. Everything was greatly improved so we gave it a 4.

The greens are dead. All 18 of them. And they’re charging full price.

It is worse than you can imagine. And they still charge you like it is beautiful.

Bad course. I need a refund. Save yourself time and money don’t book here

All sandy areas around the green. Spotty greens and tee boxes are bad. Weedy fairways with some balding areas. Totally unkept near the water areas. No WOW factor. Only time to play is after 3pm if it's 30 bucks or less. Place is empty so you'll go around quickly.
