Needs work

The course needs some work. It used to be in better condition but many holes right now have sandy greens. I wouldn’t play here for the going rate but would go again if a hot deal pops up because I do like the layout.

One hole completely shut down, two other hole with water leaks on fairway and green,

At lest six greens completely covered in sand.

Should have been offered some sort of reduced fees.

First time playing Lakes side.

I enjoyed the Lakes course at The Eagles. I've played the Forest a couple times and always heard Forest was nicer. I thought Lakes was very nice and in good shape.

After the first 9 I went over to the Forest side and it was in horrible shape. The greens were a disaster!!! I would not play there again in that condition of disarray.

What an improvment!!

We played this course 6 months ago and it was in disarray. The rough had not been mowed, a foot high, and the tees, fairways and greens all needed attention. We gave it a 2.5 rating. Everything was greatly improved so we gave it a 4.

Horrible Maintenance and Overpriced

All sandy areas around the green. Spotty greens and tee boxes are bad. Weedy fairways with some balding areas. Totally unkept near the water areas. No WOW factor. Only time to play is after 3pm if it's 30 bucks or less. Place is empty so you'll go around quickly.

Nice layout. Greens rolled well

Course is stresssed. Very brown. Drought here and Watering system is being is being replaced so I think that has something to do with it. Very nice people in the pro shop and starter was personable. First time here.
