Terrible
You get what you pay for. Horrible course if your a decent golfer. Bad everything
Horrible
1st 2 holes they had to spots cut real low and they placed a flag and cup, needless to say unputtable. Every green for the most part were diseased. If they had sanded the greens it would have helped the ball roll instead of jumping to the hole. Yardage markers if you were lucky to find ones were guess work on distance to the green. Over all just pusspoor condition.
Turf needs help
This is an old favourite of ours!
What happened????
Worst I play.
Last year this time was OK. Now this course should be close . Is not fair paying over $30 . Do not play there. You be sorry
Poorly Managed Course, Not Well Maintained
I want to like this course because the layout has potential, but so frequently it is poorly maintained. Not just one area, but the entire course. The pro shop staff are never friendly and quite unwelcoming(all other staff are polite). This past weekend was it for me. Tee boxes were under maintenance amd they had you hitting out of the rough. A 12 year old with a push mower could have at least helped a bit. Fairways are basically first cut. Greens were like mowed down weeds and surprisingly mushy despite having no rain. Really disappointed.
Save your $$$
Avoid until late 2024, under repair. Tee boxes under repair, greens are being seeded, fairways are like rough. Greens are not puttable, hit off better fairways than their current greens. One time and I'm sure in a year or two, will again be a nice course.
Course conditions
UnFortunately, there was temporary tees and the greens were very spotty when the course conditions are better which they have been in the past it’s worthwhile
Course condition
The course was in the worst condition I have ever seen it in
Very Poor Conditions
We have played here numerous times before and while its never been in great shape, today we found it to be much worse. Gator is closed, we played Panther to Bobcat. Most of the T boxes are closed and you T off the fairway. The fairways are patches at best, greens are sparce. The 9th on Bobcat has the green closed and a flag at the end of the fairway. I hope they get there act together and put some work in, this used to be a fun place to play.
Mowers in fairways. Rough conditions, slow pace
Played here twice this year. In the spring the greens were cratered and largely unplayable. Gave it another chance yesterday, but not planning to go back. Started off being notified that one of the nine hole courses was closed, and they started us behind some sort of large group of locals doing a shotgun start at 8am. Course conditions were pretty rough and by the second hole we had landscape crews mowing on our fairways in the middle of active play. The mowers were going all around the greens and even the tee boxes on a Saturday morning. We even had one stop twenty yards directly in front of us and try to tell us to hit over them. Mowers basically ruined half of the front 9. The greens were in better shape, but still not great, and the fairways were unkept with tons of divots and bare spots. Ran into more mowing crews on the back nine and they were mowing circles around our tee box while we were teeing off. By the back nine, we caught up to the large groups of locals and pace of play was painfully slow. Seems like they mostly cater to locals or residents, and several holes had 5-6 players grouped up. We gave up after 12 holes due to the ongoing mowers in play and the lack of progress on pace. The course layout is also tough to follow, and they have several blind shots but there are footgolf flags set up all over the course. Snack bar is also kinda slow, and also seems to cater to residents instead of golfers. In short, don't plan to go back. It's a cheap tee time, but there are way better courses in the area for affordable golf with better conditions.
Decent course but greens were not in good condition
Fun layout of course. Greens bounced like a cart path and did not have good grass. One hole had temporary green. Would play again but hope they improve greens
Course needs work
Me and two friends of mine played Silver Dollar 9/24/23. The course is in abd shape. Fairways need more water the green are hit or miss. Some are fine and some were just really bad. SIlver Dollar is a discount course so I never expect alot when I play there but it has gotten worse when it should be getting better. I would recomend spending a 10-15 dollars more and playing anohter course. Just doesnt make for a fun golf day.
