The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Hidden Valley Golf Club -- best grass of all time

This course has the best grass consistency I've even played on. The course has well taken care of fairways, greens and the views are absolutely amazing. It was a blast to every hole. I definitely would bring my friends and relatives to enjoy this hidden gem.

If you miss Hidden Valley, you’re missing a hidden gem!

Living in the Seattle area, I don’t get play SoCal courses I’ve enjoyed on a repeat basis. Hadn’t been here since 2014 but the track was just as beautiful and challenging as remembered. The staff was super friendly and the course was star short of perfect. Didn’t have time to get anything at the separate restaurant that is detached from the Pro Shop but it had a nice menu online.If you’re a fan of Oak Quarry and haven’t played here, get this on your list.

Course layout was decent. However, greens were exceptionally SLOW.. Any practice putting matt would roll faster.

And that's not the worst part. The most frustrating thing about this course is the gps golf cart where it would limit your speed to a snail's crawl almost on every hole. Walking would be faster at times.
