About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Nice course
Very nice course. Some challenging holes. Well maintained.

Friendly staff, accommodating. Average to good course conditions. Greens are slower than average. Several challenging holes, especially #10.
Fun and playable
Lots of variety in holes so all clubs are used. Fun and in very good condition. Recommended to play if in the area.

Fairways remain green, despite the drought. Greens are perfect! Best around!
Don't waste your time and money
Paired us with beginners when there was no reason. The course was wide open. If you like looking for your ball this is your course. If it rolls a foot off the fairway or around the green on a par 3 you will spend forever trying to find it due to the grass has no density. It's like they still have over seed left over from winter and if you want to tee your ball up above the grass you better have Tee's longer than 3.5 inches. That is if the tee box has grass on it. To top it off not only did they pair us with beginners and you can't find your ball when you see it bounce and roll on the fairway after your tee shot, they come and tell you to skip a hole because you're playing to slow. Fist and last time I'll play here
Beach course
My husband and I wanted to find a beach feel golf course for your honeymoon and this course fit the description perfectly. The course has a great layout and staff is friendly. Locals are also very helpful at this course and welcoming to people playing on vacation. Will defiantly come back and play again on our anniversary or next family vacation.
Great layout and course conditions
This is a great layout, and with five tee box locations a good and fair challenge for all levels of play. Conditions were good, considering a lengthy dry spell preceding our round. Sand traps were not in the best shape, with several traps very low on sand. Greens were somewhat slow and rough for this level of course, but that could also be attributed to the dry spell. All in all, a good golfing experience and I would play here again.

Course is in good shape, greens are good and fair. CAUTION this course allows 5 somes…
good and not so good
All in all; a good golf experience; however, course needs some TLC. Many tee boxes were in poor shape: 18th tee box like hitting out of a waste bunker. Speaking of bunkers; no one seems to rake bunkers here. Greens in general were good. Pace of play slow but expected on a Saturday.
Great Round
Perfect weather and a great round of golf. The hot deal from GolfNow made it possible for me to play one of my favorite courses in the area.
Really nice course, but
The rough is so deep when you hit a good shot and miss the fairway you can’t find your ball. Extremely tough.
Also, they allow fivesomes and even sixsomes very frustrating…
Always enjoy coming here. Course is usually in good condition and greens were in good shape. The main problem was a large gathering ahead of our group of some sort of guys trip. There fivesomes on some holes and pace was unbearable. The group ahead of us who were not part of the guytrip called the pro shop to ask for a marshall to get things moving. This is a Saturday Noon tee time. Marshall tells them "well, the course is kinda full". BS. Don't like to complain, but the staff could do more to keep up the pace. Very disappointed with the situation. I had a 11:50 tee time and ended up hoping to finish before dark. Totally unacceptable.
Fun Track
Super fun track. Played early and played fast. Highly recomend!!

Bar/grill area was awesome. Great experience. The course was pretty good for the $60 value. Greens were little slow very true.
