About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Golfer Reviews
Turtle Pace Golf
The pace of play was ridiculously slow. We waited a minimum of 10 minutes on the tee box, waited to hit the second shot. We asked the Marshall to speak to the groups holding everyone up and were told they spoke to them. We don't believe he did. There were two Marshall's: both sat on #1 tee instead of moving along the the slow golfers. It was a hot day. We only saw the beverage cart girl on #1 tee and then on #17. When we made the turn, she sat with the Marshall's on #1 talking with them. We won't go back to this course because we feel we were lied to by the Marshall and the guy working in the pro shop. We did get an apology but we needed action!
Good day
Had golf now reservations, they couldn’t find it but honored my confirmation. Got us out on time. FYI, if you use golf now, expect to be paired up to make 4some. Not a negative for m, but she me folks are picky
Great course
Golf course was in excellent shape. The only negative was the greens were pretty slow. Other than that it was perfect. I'm from south Alabama and was looking for a course that is in good shape for a reasonable price. This fits the bill I will be back for sure
FUN but wet!
Weather was terrible..no one could do anything about it so no bad review for that. Course is very nice...challenging but not ridiculous even for me (about a 24 handicapper). Carts are quite and well equipped with GPS and BT speaker. GPS also provided distance from hazards which was nice. Only negative was some holes didnt have full cart paths which only became an issue with the rain (cart path only) because we could not find the natural flow of the path.
All around, very nice course.
Perdido Bay Golf Course
Guys in the pro shop were great! The Marshall had no personality and was a complete jerk! The course was a great challenge with all the water and was in good shape!
General review
Cart path not continous so difficult to determine cart path only or 90 degree cart play. Need more signage for some holes on back nine as accidentally skipped 2 holes.
Nice round
This was my second time, play on this course
I enjoyed it better than 1st around on Memo-Day
too many people played then. (Overcrowded)
Fun Time
Great course. It was in really good shape and great layout.
