About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Nice course
Enjoyed playing this course. The layout is good. The only criticism I can offer would be the sand traps. There’s no sand. They were in bad condition so our group decided to take a free drop out of all sand traps.
The Golf Now Hot Deal made this course a good value. I’m just not happy about the management here who decided that Golf Now participants must wait until there scheduled tee time. Not that there’s anything wrong with waiting but when there was no one teeing off for 45 minutes prior to our scheduled tee time and we were told we must wait until the exact tee time. We were told the Perdido Bay Golf Course management directed that Golf Now players must wait! If they want to be childish, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Nice atmosphere, good layout, some challenges
Starter was congenial and very helpful.
Once we caught 2 foursomes on the front we waited every shot. When we got to #10, the starter saw the slowdown and suggested we go to #12 then play jholes 10 and 11 after coming off #18.
We did that and finished our 18 hole round in 2:40, even with the slowdown on the front.
The course has some hazards that are in the way. but if you get the ball off the ground and don't spray it all over, they are all avoidable. Greens rolled well. We'll go back.
Lots of Water
Nice course, well maintained. Lots of water so list a few balls but if I played a few more times would change some placement. Good course. MO

Had lots of trouble with carts, did not have functioning GPS. Course browned over and ruff only sand. Course really has not improved over the years. Play there only because of convenience.
Good track
Great layout, slower than normal play and greens were great. Seemed like it’s easy to lose balls out here even though fairways were pretty spacious. I didn’t play well and found myself losing a lot of balls in the Katodi patches.
