About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Another Great day at Perdido Bay
Everything was perfect as usuial (once we called the ranger and asked him to speed up the folks in front of us who were intent on playing a 6 hr round).
He took care of that and then everything was wonderful on a beautiful sunny day
We got paired up with two fun fellows. Had fun.
Great day golfing
Was paired with a lovely couple and had a most enjoyable afternoon
Winter conditions
Greens very good. Fringe and bunkers also good. Fairways really dry in winter conditions.
Back nine was completely clogged up, couldn't finish the round.
I am a Golf Pass member for at least 10 years. I, along with my friends like to travel around the area and play different courses. Never have I been treated so rudely in the pro shop for booking a tee time.
Everywhere has been so accommodating.
Don’t go with golf now!
We booked using golf now. My husband was scolded for how he registered upon checking in. The course is pretty,but not really worth the hassle if you use golf now.
Sand trap Suck!
Looks like they haven’t done any kind of maintenance on sand traps for years. At the very least they should trim around them and power rake them🙄
Terrible Sand Traps
I enjoyed the course except for the sand traps. I looks like it has been years since sand was added. At very least they could trim the long grass and power rake them. They were so bad players don’t bother to hand rake them.

extremely satisfied with the course for Dec 26th. Had lost of fun
Had a great round of golf With two older timers that showed where to hit the ball and more important where not to hit. We well be back
Worse Customer Service & Golf Experience
Booked for a foursome and drove over an hour to get to the course. When we arrived we found out 2 out of the 4 of our players had an emergency and couldn’t join us. The management told us we couldn’t tee off at our time, we would get pushed back 30 min so we didn’t “play into maintenance”, even with a multiple groups already having went off the first tee box. They proceeded to let seven-eight groups of foursomes and fivesomes go before our PAIR! We sat at the first tee box for 90 minutes AFTER our prepaid, prebooked tee time that we woke up early and traveled to get to the course for. When we asked the staff how they could take care of us their response was, “you just cancel your tee time and go home if you need to”… worst customer service I’ve ever seen on a golf course. Unless you’re a member, I’d probably just go to AC Read and enjoy playing in the Navy Base with a potential of seeing the Blue Angels and one you’re going to tee off on time.
