Conveniently located adjacent to the DFW Airport, Bear Creek Golf Club serves up two Ted Robinson-designed, 18-hole masterpieces that are known for their stunning topography and outstanding greens. And with both golf courses playing around 6,700 yards from the tips, golfers can hit long irons and fairway woods off the tee to keep it in the fairway, which is mandatory for a good round on these tight courses. Bear Creek's West Course is demanding early, and is significantly more difficult on the front side. However, the back side opens up and allows some room for error, making this the track of choice for the high handicapper. Nos. 6 and 7 stand out on the demanding front. No. 6 requires a blind tee shot and an approach over water, and no. 7 might be the most difficult on the golf course: a 380-yard par 4 that plays into the wind and also involves water. The back side has the signature hole, the scenic 180-yard 17th, which plays along a lake.

Rude Starter, Great course
We drove up to the number 1 tee box 5 minutes early and looked around for the starter and was nowhere to be found. We noticed the group before us already on the green so we decided to go ahead and tee off exactly at our schedule tee time (3:11) . The starter finally shows up with an attitude telling us we need to check with starter before we tee off and we shouldn’t have started without checking in. We told him we looked for him as was nowhere to be found. He said he was busy with the other course. He just wasn’t professional or friendly and rubbed us the wrong way. It wasn’t the best way to start a round of golf. Everything else was great though! The cart girl Sahara was friendly and helpful! Course is in very good shape.
Bear creek east
Wasn’t informed about a tournament that was being played during our tee time and we had to wait on golf carts.
Not worth the price
Use to love playing this course, but last outting it took 3.5 hrs to get to number 11, no chance of getting 18 in so basically the price per hole doubled. C'mon you gotta do better than this. 5 carts backed up every hole and 10-15 mins to wait between shots-
A pleasant round of golf
My wife and I played the East course for the first time. Lots of trees and several blind shots, but overall a great day.

It was a challenge great course east side maybe next time k get the west one.
New to Dallas
Excellent course! Great price! Bear Creek is in beautiful condition! As if this heatwave never happened. Beautiful challenging lil track. I definitely need a membership🔥NOW!
Slow play
Hate to give this type review, but pace was completely unacceptable, despite several attempts of course officials to motivate the group ahead of us.
Great design and good conditions.
Probably the best condition course I have played this long hot summer. Really like the design. It was a little slow, but I think that may have been the groups in front versus overloading the course. The Marshall did eventually talk the the group ahead and pace picked up substantially.
Excellent condition
Course was in great condition. Nice layout but they do seem to have a lot of greens surrounded by bunkers. Only complaint was pace of play was slow, but I think that was down to the specific group ahead of us.
Over Priced for Value
Paying almost $100 for the condition of the course and pace of play, not worth it. I will say after 5h and still on 15th hole, they did send some complimentary drinks out with one of there staff members. Best part of the day!
