About
The Links at Bodega Harbour is conveniently situated along the Sonoma County Coast, only an hour from San Francisco and two hours from Sacramento. Its location perched above the Pacific also provides stunning ocean views. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.in 1978, the back nine was the original course before the front nine was added nine years later. Jones designed a traditional Scottish links layout complete with rolling fairways and fast, undulating greens. There are almost 100 bunkers strategically situated throughout as well as thick patches of native coastal rough that are just waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. The golf course is not long but it requires both skill and strategy. The final three holes are not only the most challenging, they also boast the most breathtaking views.

Great Day on the links
It was a perfect day and the course was in good shape. The only problem was the greens had just been aerated, otherwise everything was perfect.
Great place to play

Wild course, perfect views, everything mint
One of the coolest courses I’ve ever played. Perfect condition. Pace of play amazing. Friendliest most helpful marshal ever. Play early in the morning on a clear day cuz we teed off at 9:50 on a day it wasn’t supposed to be that windy and it was still blowing 15+ on the back nine. Super challenge and would be worth every penny without even taking the views into account. With the views it’s a no brainer. Truly unreal place.

The course was in amazing condition. Greens were very fast and consistent. In great shape overall and would highly recommend. The green were probably the best in the Bay Area right now.

Bodega Harbour Holf course review
I enjoyed the rounds however the GPS on the carts were not working and the snack shack was closed so there was no way to get anything to eat or drink
And Employee said “the staff person did not show up although I wonder if they really want to staff and on slower days
This is not the first time that this is happened to me when I have played there
you might consider calling the chorus before making a reservation if either of those two items are important to you

One of the Best in Nor Cal
This course is epic. Ocean views from nearly every hole. It is one of the most amazing courses in Northern California. I have played it a lot over the years. Always in nice shape. The greens roll excellent, but are fast. Everything breaks towards the ocean and you want to be below the hole. Nice elevation changes. Ultimately nothing beats the views. I have played Half Moon Bay multiple times and this is more of a links course than the ocean course there with better ocean views. Can't beat it for the price.

Get a cart and don’t play if the winds are more than 10 mph
It’s a long, tough walk, get a cart. The greens and course were in in good condition, the views are awesome, abs the staff is friendly. The houses are way too close to the course abs this course is nearly unplayable if the wind is blowing hard. The last three holes make it worth the money but try to get a deal if you can.

Incredible views, fast greens, meh fairways, slow pace of play even with an 8:50am tee time. Waited on every tee box and approach.

Always on point
Great bargain just for the views. Greens are always solid, a few fairways can be a little soupy in the winter, but drains better than most Sonoma courses. My first choice in the county
Best value in the area
This course is all-around fantastic. Every hole is interesting and has a beautiful view of the bay. The greens are fast, true, and challenging to read. This course plays similarly to Half Moon Bay at the Ritz Carlton, yet this is almost half the price. In fact, I like this course better. I highly recommend playing here.
