About
Woodbridge’s layout doglegs through some interesting terrain, with heavy woodlands, natural wetlands, streams, and meadows making the course scenic and fun. There are 15 doglegs in all, which makes for a tough, long 7,088 yards if you’re playing from the tips.
Woodbridge’s best feature is perfectly conditioned greens that vary in size and force you to think because of the heavy undulations.
One of the most challenging holes on the front nine is No. 5, a 429-yard par 4 that plays uphill through a tight chute of trees. The spectacular green is guarded by a waterfall on the left, bunkers to the right and rear, and a pond in the front.
On the back, No. 16 is one of the nastiest, playing over water that wraps around the green. Overhanging trees get in the way off the tee, forcing you to work the ball if the pin is tucked right or left. Rather than getting fancy, the best play here is to get it on the green and work for the two-putt par.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 75 (Central Expressway) north to Hwy. 190 (George Bush Turnpike). Drive east to Hwy. 78, then north for 4 miles. The entrance to the subdivision is on the right, and there are signs to the course inside.

Great time at Woodbridge
Course was in great shape. Enjoyed using the GPS system on the cart. It was accurate and helpful. The ball washers were in use and there was water at several locations. It was extremely hot but it was a great time to be playing golf. Greens were in great shape and we had a wonderful time.
not enough carts
no social distancing. pair you with stranger in same cart. take pins out at 7pm. WHY?
Woodbridge course
Greens are in shape and course has a challenging layout. Fairways are rock hard, gps not working on most carts

A day at Woodbridge
Had a great time with two gentlemen. I was lucky to score a golf cart by myself so social distancing was adhered too.
Not a good choice if you believe in social distancing.
I booked a round using GolfNow as I usually do and have done at this course before. The booking included a cart.
When I arrived, I was told that someone would be joining me in the cart (that I didn't know).
In this time of the pandemic, most courses that I'm hearing about are having one person per cart (unless from the same household?). With the governor's continued called for social distancing and care not to spread the virus, riding in a cart with a stranger is not a good idea (even outside). Since I had already paid for the round and couldn't get a refund, I chose to walk and leave my bag on the cart where I could be careful to stay far enough away from others.
This is not an easy course to walk (long green to tee).
I did not finish the round.
I like this course, although it is hard, but it is not a good choice right now.
Good course, but..
I like the course, but note: They pull the flags off the course at 6 pm (front 9), and 7 pm (back nine), even though there is still plenty of daylight. Our group was actually in the process of making our approach shots and the guy just walked onto the green and removed the flag. No explanation. We had several holes still to play. Pretty much ruined the rest of the round. I wont play here again unless I can start before 3 pm.
Enjoyed it
Course was in really good condition for it to have rained all day the day prior. Walked it as well.
It's Complicated
I've played here, maybe 10 or so times, and have a Love/Hate relationship with this course. It is really an interesting and challenging layout. There are some very unique holes, and some downright hard ones. There are also some great birdie chances. The practice area is also great, and the clubhouse is nice, though a bit dated. At times the greens can be terrible, but they were almost perfect today. Having the cups raised above the level of the ground last time out was absolutely absurd. Don't tell me it was because you were safer than the other courses. No, it was a terrible idea and thank you for correcting it. If you make a mistake out here, you will pay the price, as it should be. So, what is the one thing that I would change about the course? There are actually 2. One, fill in the sand traps that are just impossible to maintain and make them grass bunkers. It will help speed up play. Second, think there are some folks who play here that need reminding about basic course etiquette. Repair ball marks, speed of play, basic rules of game. Coach them up. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Guess today was Love.
Slow play due to 4-some group in front of us & we had a walker!

Great Value for the course and the Pro shop employees were wonderful and friendly. Wish more courses had guys like them!!! Made us feel like we played there everyday. Can’t wait to get back out there and play again.

Good fun
Nicely paced. Never had to wait on a hole. We were a foursome with a couple and two singles paired together.
Perfect day, slight wind and not humid. Played in 4 hrs
This course is in good condition and priced right. Much better than Firewheel whilch is overpriced and poorly managedd. with lots of bare spots and very little upkeep.
Think the City of Garland has no money to upkeep Filrewheel and doesn't care. So sad.
