About
Woodbridge’s layout doglegs through some interesting terrain, with heavy woodlands, natural wetlands, streams, and meadows making the course scenic and fun. There are 15 doglegs in all, which makes for a tough, long 7,088 yards if you’re playing from the tips.
Woodbridge’s best feature is perfectly conditioned greens that vary in size and force you to think because of the heavy undulations.
One of the most challenging holes on the front nine is No. 5, a 429-yard par 4 that plays uphill through a tight chute of trees. The spectacular green is guarded by a waterfall on the left, bunkers to the right and rear, and a pond in the front.
On the back, No. 16 is one of the nastiest, playing over water that wraps around the green. Overhanging trees get in the way off the tee, forcing you to work the ball if the pin is tucked right or left. Rather than getting fancy, the best play here is to get it on the green and work for the two-putt par.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 75 (Central Expressway) north to Hwy. 190 (George Bush Turnpike). Drive east to Hwy. 78, then north for 4 miles. The entrance to the subdivision is on the right, and there are signs to the course inside.

tough but fair
Tough but fair as always, bunkers need work so just avoid them.
To much yelling and screaming coming from the walk pathways with children!!! Drove up on a father/son that had picked up my ball. Told them to put it down they did not! They hit a ball onto the green in front of us and proceeded to play........they were not in front of us! We tried calling the club house x4 nobody pickup the phone!
Bunkers need work
It has always been my opinion that if the bunkers are not raked out reach day they shouldn't be allowed to charge a full green fee. This is definitely the case here. Some of the bunkers were awful. Course was average. I have been playing here for 20 years and it is not getting better. I do like the course though and I will be back.
tough as ever
Course is in great shape, wind made it tougher than usual, can't wait to play it again!
BIT TOO SLOW PLAYER FOREVER
THERRE NO GOOD DEAL WITH PLAYERS TOO SLOW 15 - 25 MIN EACH HOLE FORGET IT AND I LEFT EARLY GOLF COURSE 4TH HOLE. WHAT A WASTE MY MONEY FOR NOTHING.
Value and challenge
Good golf course. Difficult pin placements for putting and approach shots. Loved it. Tremendous value.
Wood Bridge
Pace of play was a little slow, but it was a Saturday round so it's expected.
Course is always a challenge and was in excellent shape.
Pro shop staff were extremely courteous as always.
Hidden gem
Had not been out to Woodbridge in a while.
Played it 3 times in the last week.
Course is in great shape except for a couple of bunkers under repair. Course was green despite the fact that there has been little rain in the past few months. Greens were soft and good speed. Layout offers a challenge from all the tee boxes. Seniors can get a great rate during the week. Practice areas did not disappoint. Encourage you to take a break from your regular course and rediscover Woodbridge.
good value and challenge
I had a wonderful round of golf. Each hole had its own challenges. Lot's of shot-making. Long and short par 3's. Excellent greens, also large. Up and down, trees, water, the course had it all. Highly recommend it.
Best staff and value
The absolute best staff ever of any course I have ever played hands down. Hard course, lots of hazards but really fun. Greens were in solid shape and FAST! This one is a challenge from the blues for sure but great fun. Value for the dollar is really good. I highly recommend Woodbridge.
Better than most
Layout and distance is a nice challenge, rough is punishing but playable. Greens are soft for this time of year if you are the player will reasonable to high spin, I myself repaired ball marks from approach shots. Food is great, staff is 5 star quality for sure, Ryan and Ro in the pro shop are more than helpful and reasonable. They have the contagious attitude you want to bring to the first tee. Bunkers have been an issue on some hole despite others being rather nice, Overall better than most public courses frI’m the course itself to the other touch points you have throughout the day from parking to staff inside to facilities inside and outside. Have been there about a dozen times and see a lasting relationship with the club.
Enjoyable Course
Fairways lush, greens perfect. Slow foursome in front of us was my only complaint. Enjoyed my round.
Course in better condition than last time I played.
good day
they had just aerated the greens and not many players tried it this day. the course director encouraged me to try the greens saying they used a new technology to aerate. it played pretty well i missed a straight 65 foot put just off the lip and drained a straight 24 footer. the lines were still good enough on straight puts and without much ball bounce. it was a good day other than the 101 temperature to play even though the greens had just been addressed.
Challenging course
Good value for a nice course but challenging to boot!
Well it’s that time of year. Hot, Hot, Hot! That being said fairways are starting to dry out so taking a divet is getting tougher with your irons but boy will your drives roll out that extra 15-20 yards. Greens were in great shape , but the tee boxes were very hard and tough to get a tee into them. As to be expected mid summer though.
Overbooked ( not slow play )
Im not blaming the golfers. The people all around were not bad golfers and polite. The course and carts were nicer than average.
We were simply overbooked and stacked up with no place to go in 100+ heat We did not finish just too hot to wait like that.
I would recommend avoiding this course on weekends, holidays and such.
Great Time
It's been a few years since I've played this course. I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.
The course itself, although difficult to play, was in great shape. The ground was a little hard due to the hot weather we've been having, but that was not a big issue.
I look forward to play Woodbridge again soon.
