It was extremely hard to find your ball if it wasn't in the short grass

Played with a local. Was very busy and almost 5 hrs to play the round. Wet in some areas but otherwise greens were great to putt on even if I did not make many.

You need to play early here or it will be slow. Ive played at 8am in less than 4 hours. But after 10 the pace is glacial at times. 4:45 is too long for me.

We were there on a cart path only day. This is a tough course for cart path only and really slows down the pace of play. The fairways are worn and muddy with little grass. Overpriced for the current conditions. If you are going to play, walking is best.

Golf course is great. Hard to tell where to drive to a Teebox since there’s no signs. Overall greens are great condition. Great for the money. Course is not difficult. I would come back again

Weather was great. But, since previous days had fair amount of rain, the course was very wet / soggy. Majority of fairways had lots of mud spots due to worm castings, which made it hard to get a decent lie even under winter rules. Greens were decent, with exception of having to clear lots of dead worms.

Course in great shape got paired up with a couple of wonderful golfers that made it fun & competitive. Course in great shape, greens fast, the staff is outstanding. Play was a little slow the group in front of us did not play ready golf & fell behind about a hole. Otherwise, it was very ENJOYABLE..

Yes it was Thanksgiving weekend so there is that but it was so slow that by the 13th hole I left. There were 3 groups waiting to tee off. The conditions, pace of play and course didn't make it worth the money. I won't be going back.

Course is in pretty good condition for fall as long as you are in the fairway. Rough is dormant and the soil is hard as a rock in most places off the fairway. Greens are firm and quick but receptive and rolling nicely. Players could fix their divots more. The bar has tasty chicken club sandwich

Was tracking for a 5+ hour round (with a cart) bit quit before it was over. No marshal on the course and it's not in great shape for a $73 round with a cart and some balls.

Course is probably the firmest it will be, no wets spots. Great weather day, greens were very nice.

Very simply, this very wide-open course that is clearly geared for intermediate players, and very forgiving, was, nevertheless in probably the best condition I have seen any course in in Norcal recently. The fairways looked like greens, and the greens looked and played like pool tables. Relative to several of my old favorite Roseville courses, the conditions of those made Mather look like Augusta. Pace of play could have been better, but there was reportedly some ladies league on the back 9 when we began. I love this course though. It’s all about conditions and good maintenance to make me feel I’m at a fun and beautiful venue. A beverage cart would’ve been nice though. ;-)
