Whittier Narrows Golf Course - River/Pine

Play was super slow. Bo Marshall's to control pace. Alright course for what they charge

They have poor fairways, dirts and holes everywhere. Roughs are too high and thick. Greens are good though. We had foursome in front of us, they were too slow, and one of them kept spitting everywhere. Terrible manner in these days. I would not play here again.

Played quite a few times and until I hear that the fairways are in better shape, I probably won’t return. The cost of the round pairs well with the conditions. Too many bare spots on the fair and the areas that have grass are weeds or overgrown. Greens were pretty good but a little bumpy and that would be golfer’s faults for not fixing divots! I always repair my divot and at least one other!

I used to like playing here even though it’s quite a drive for me. I would like to see it back in shape.

I feel like the course is too expensive for the regular conditions. It should cost $40-$45.

The greens were decent, not great, but fairway conditions were patchy and inconsistent.

It’s an LA muni: Don’t be too shocked that there’s a bare spot here and there. A lot of reviews of this place are unnecessarily harsh, I found it to be in fair condition. POP was good on the front, bad on the back, still just over 4 hours. Greens were in good shape, staff was friendly and the price was right, I’ll be back for sure

There are over 400 yards par 4. It is tough for us. But challenging

Great course to play with the buddy’s don’t go here looking for the best conditions. The staff is great and overall a great deal

This was the fastest I have ever played Whittier Narrows - 3-1/2 hours on a Saturday! We even had a 5-some playing in front of us "giving field lessons". Everything was great ... pace of play ... weather ... good greens ... except for the fairway conditions were terrible! But for $25 Hot Deal ... I'll do it any day again and again.

Fun day on the course with my friends. Course was in pretty good shape, greens were in very nice condition. Pace was really good. It was hot but it still beat the heck out of during house choirs

This facility shouldn't be considered a golf course. I almost walked off the course multiple times due to the condition of the course. Tee boxes were nowhere even close to usable. Crab grass and dirt. Fairways were basically weeds and lumped dirt. The greens compared to the rest of the facility are good shape. They actually took care of them.

I played here years ago and remembered it as a run down facility but the course was OK.

If you actually want to golf and enjoy yourself, do not play here. It won't make you a better player.

Left my wedge behind a vokey and instead of people turning it in they decide to keep them. I’ve played other course and this course have found head covers to spider putter covers(which are expensive) some irons and never have. I taken them home. No need for that. It’s sad that people are desperate to steal a club

Great course to play at nicely kept up and staff is excellent.
