Whittier Narrows Golf Course - River/Pine

This course is hands down the worst course I’ve played in all my 20 years of playing. They literally need to give you an off road vehicle instead of a golf cart. The course has barely any fairway and is littered with bumps, dirt, holes from gofer/prairie dogs and everything else you dont want on a golf course. We were hitting straight drives still couldnt find our balls due to the horrible conditions. I will never play this course again.

Greens are well kept. But the fairways and rest of the course is in desperate need of water.

The greens and fringe are in amazing shape, but the fairways are pretty rough, even for a muni. Range is also pretty small for a larger course.

This is a great warm up course. The fairways are decent with a lot of rough patches. Greens are good. Good place to go tune up for the bigger courses. Great deals if you choose tonwalk it.

Normally I’m not one to write a negative review about a golf course as I am an optimistic individual, but In this case, it wouldn’t be fair to those looking to book a tee time at this course. For starters, the course conditions were horrendous. All fairways are muddled with gofer holes; the fairways look like poorly maintained roughs. The price is unjustifiable, $60 to play and ride at this course is not feasible! I’m an avid golfer, who doesn’t mind paying for a quality round of golf, but this course wouldn’t even equate to $30 to play and ride, as the conditions are that bad. Moreover, this would be my “home” course as I live so close to this course, nevertheless, I will not be going back anytime soon, until the course is up to par.

I have enjoyed very well together with freinds.

Hopely play again next week!!

I booked on hot deal and pre-paid green fee including carts.

And there was no mention of greens being aerated.

As i was checking in, guy at the counter insisted to pay for carts sayinf I booked walking rates.

When I told him that carts were included he said he couldn’t believe me.

As I showed him the reservation page of golf mow, he gave us carts.

Very rude and demanding character.

As we were playing with no choice, fairways were all dry and in terrible condition. Greens were worse.

This course used to be in pretty decent condition and now, it is one of the worst golf course in the area.

Bad course, bad service and rude staffs.

Save your money and day, please stay away!!!!!

Not enough cart roads, too much bumpy ride.

Huge range but needs to replace balls and matts

Even though the greens were punched and sanded, the worst, as always, were the fairways that were uncut down the sides and many bald patches.

Fairways were patchy. Group in front of us held us up all day, plus at least 3 other groups by being an entire hole behind because there was no Marshall. $60 is $60 too much for a course in this condition. Starter literally blocked me from putting on the practice green because I didn’t have a mask on, despite me being the only one on there. First and last time playing this course, wouldn’t play again even if it were free.
