Whats with the par 3's
This place was deemed as being an executive course. Do they know what an executive course is. Its like they made a community of homes for seniors. Had a spot to run a gold course up the middle with no idea of a layout. The par 4's are short. That's fine. The par 3s are short par 4's. Seniors are not going to reach 200 yard par 3's. Almost every par three was at least 178 or so. No Marshall. sent out everyone as twosomes. By the time I got on the 18th hole we were a foursome. with 8 guys playing together in front us. Not coming back
Course a good shape everybody really friendly
I would definitely recommend this course to friends and I have
Vern review
Perfect weather, slow pace of play, course except for a few bunkers was in great shape
Sugarloaf
The fringes around the greens are in need of work, every one of them contains weeds, holes, and obstacles that should not be there. The sand bunkers also stink as there is not enough sand and far too many rocks. Needs a professional landscaping team.
Fun little course.
I love this course. The only down fall is the sand traps. Sand must be hard to get nowadays, because this isn't the only course that doesn't have it in their traps! The greens were awesome!
Sugarloaf March 2024
The rough was being mowed while we played and clumps of grass were left everywhere. The sand traps had small rocks in them. The fairways were in decent shape and the greens were in very good shape.
Very poor quality today
This review is based of the course conditions after getting decent rain. In my opinion management should not of had course open for play as it had not been mowed in awhile and the fairways basically the rough. Swampy mess throughout. The greens where nice but that’s about it. Balls were vanishing in the thick “fairways” again this was after a lot of rain. Had I known the conditions were gonna be this bad I wouldn’t of made the hour drive to play there that day.
Oakmont East 11/23
The sand traps were in pretty bad shape. There were leaves all over the course, but the greens ran nicely.
Oakmont short course
The young lady managing the check in shack was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a 50 minute frost delay and had time ti hang at the shack while waiting. Course was in great shape considering we just had some rain.
Fun course to play for all levels.
The course layout gives every level of golfers an opportunity to work on their game.
