Located just south of the Palm Beaches, Atlantis Country Club has a convenient location that is just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. The golf course stands out from others in the area thanks to the abundance of mature oaks and pines as well as massive banyan trees. The lush landscape is reminiscent of a course you would find in North Carolina. The layout features fast, undulating greens and fairways that range from being wide-open to tight and lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes, including a series of canals that cross many of the fairways. Golfers will be confronted with tricky approach shots with water one side and thick stands of trees on the other. To make the golf course even more challenging, there are 100 bunkers treacherously bordering the landing areas and greensides.

Another slow round!

2 hours to play 6 holes. How can golf courses keep getting away with these lies? “The pace is good so you should be able to get 14-16 holes before it’s dark” … no 9 holes rate. Just robbed me of $40

Now I’m 6 holes in, no ranger, 2 hours in. Thanks a lot Atlantis! Great job running your course for people who can actually play golf.

Stopped for lunch

We were a twosome and was pared up with another twosome. The pace was good until we stopped for lunch. My buddy and I always like to play 9 holes and have a burger and coke before we hit the back 9.

We finished the front and asked are playing partners if they were going to eat. They said no and kept playing.

We finished are lunch and went out to play the back 9. We had a foursome in front and a two’s behind us.

Play got very slow being we are only a twosome now.

The course was great but don’t stop for lunch it’s the season now.

Paradise tucked away!

Absolutely love this course. Everyone’s very friendly never seems to be crowded although I haven’t played in season as of yet. It’s a little bit more pricey than most of the courses I go to in the local area, but I would save it for the extra money, it’s really worth it. The carts are decent. The greens are nice and they were very fast the other day. Not many low wet areas which I do find a problem with a lot of the courses around Palm Beach County this time of year. I will definitely be back and refer other golfers to this course.
